1200 is the minimum you should eat unless supervised by a doctor. If you are burning cals through exercise you are supposed to eat those back. Why are you eating below what MFP recommends?

I think natural sugars are alright as long as you are not diabetic or have any other reason to be very careful with sugar.

Apparently he picks Courtney...Blah

I disagree. Typically a poster is looking for more than one person to give them advice. I would be more inclined to do or try something if several people agreed with the same thing.

Does your hubby not know what underwear he has worn in the past that he likes?

We do 5 day hiking trips. We take tuna and chicken packets, beef jerky, trail mix, dried fruit, some real fruit (oranges, apples), string cheese, precooked sausage and tortillas for wraps, canned vegies and beans, etc. A lot of times we take dried camping food which you can get at most sports stores. Just add boiling water…

Typical breakfast for me. :)

Our kids eat what we cook for dinner. No separate dishes for them. If they don't like it then they go to bed hungry. They always eat it. ;)

Tuna steak, salmon, garlic butter scallops, turkey burgers...

I am the total opposite! When my gay guy friends tell me I look great I take it with a grain of salt. I mean it's like my girl friends telling me I look nice. They are my friends and tell me things to be nice, even when I don't I imagine. When a straight guy compliments me they must think I'm hot! Lol!

Weighing at night will give you inaccuracies. Depending on what you ate/drank during the day you could weigh in heavier than you really are. First thing in the morning, after you potty, before you eat is the best time.

I always bring my own stuff to my friends gatherings. They know me and just laugh at me. It's all good though. I'm at my goal and that's how I got there. :)

Eat more calorie dense food. Avacados are great for this. Also, adding olive oil to dressings ups your caloric intake quickly too. Peanut butter is good for you with a high caloric content. Eat a couple tablespoons alone or with apples.

THIS! But once you get to your goal weight do not up your cals to maintenance all at once. Up them by 100-200 per week until you reach your maintenance cals. That is what I did. I did not gain any weight while doing this.

A piece of fruit is the most caloric thing you eat in a day? There's something wrong with that. Fruit has a vast amount of vitamins and water to help hydrate you. Most fruits are roughly 100 cals or less (I know some are a tad more). A 100 cal snack is actually very good. This post kind of confuses me. Most people are…

Unless you ate 7000 calories more than your maintanance calories would be you did not gain 2 lbs of fat. Probably water weight. Or your calories burned estimate is too high and you are eating too many cals back based on that. Still though you would have to eat 7000 cals on top of maintenance to get that 2 lb gain...

Goal of 1350. Eat back everything I burn (~400-500 cals/day). Lost 1.4-2 lbs per week. I am prego now so I have stopped dieting but that is what I WAS doing. :)

You're eating like crazy?

LMAO!

I prefer short like pic #3 or short with a lil shag on top like pic #5.

Eat more! You're a grown man. Chicken and a salad with light dressing for lunch is bird food! Especially since you are netting well below the recommended amount of calories just to sustain life.

I am 5'7". My profile pic is me at my goal weight of 130 pounds.

Ever heard the phrase "You can't out exercise a bad diet"? It is very true. If you are eating more cals than you are burning (which seems to be the case) then you are not going to lose. MFP is designed so you can log EVERYTHING in order to hold yourself accountable.

I lost 1.4 lbs/wk consistently throughout my weight loss.
