Life is a journey. And life has a stopping/end point. I plan to be on this particular journey for life...which DOES have an end. Duh.

Your weight fluctuates daily. In any given day there can be a five pound difference. If you have been eating right and logging correctly then you have not truly gained any fat. Drink plenty of water to flush out any water you may be retaining due to salt.

Run away! There's nothing worse than a man who defends his deceitful actions and then turns it around on you like you're the one doing something wrong. I have been in those manipulative situations and I always ended up feeling like I was crazy. You are not making too big of a deal about this. He is in a relationship with…

Don't buy above your means. Do a budget and figure out what you can afford. Just because you get approved for a certain amount does not mean you should take out that large of a loan. Don't mix business with pleasure (i.e. don't buy from family or friends). While that may have worked out for some, it can definitely ruin a…

I don't have near the time to read through 15 pages worth of posts so I'm sure I am repeating names but I like: 1) Liam 2) Athen (not Ethan) 3) Gavin 4) Lucas 5) Shane 6) Roman

Simple answer- yep.

This cracked me up. Anyhoo, I agree with the other posters. You are likely retaining water from the overeating, most likely from the sodium. Drink extra water to flush out the excess and weigh again in a few days. I bet the scale will go down. :)

It will even out. You'd have to eat 1000 cals/day above what your maintenance cals per day are in order to gain 2 lbs in one week. If you didn't do that then there's no way you gained 2 lbs of fat in a week.

Just drink extra water to flush out the excess your muscles store for repair. When I was working out a lot I had to almost double my water intake in order to not gain water weight (I normally drink 10-15 glasses per day when not working out). You don't necessarily need exercise to lose weight but it is so good for you for…

I upped from 1600 to 1850 and started losing 1 lb/wk after maintaining at 1600 for months.

I put it in shakes (oatmeal, vanilla almond milk, light vanilla yougurt, banana, 2 tablespoons pb2 with cocoa). I have also sprinkled it on my oatmeal, waffles, and frozen yogurt.

When you are on an elevator and it's time to get off on your floor and the people waiting to get on the elevator on that floor pile in before letting you off. RUDE!

MFP automatically decreases your daily cals after each 10 lbs lost.

I weigh daily but record weekly. I have learned my daily fluctuations. For example- I always weigh more on Tuesdays. Apparently I retain the most water up to this day. Thursdays and Fridays I weigh the least. I record on Thursdays.

Congrats on your success thus far. Just an FYI- you can monitor your iron and whatnot by going into settings-diary settings- and picking what you want monitored in your daily diary log. Also, your morning weight is your most accurate so don't sell yourself short. Your evening weight includes all the food and liquids you've…

Keeping your calories at goal is the best way to lose fat. Exercise is an added bonus. But fat falls of where IT wants to, as opposed to where YOU want it to. You can work on toning your tummy but until the extra layer of fat comes off you will not see the muscle underneath. Good luck!!

Cold turkey 10 years ago. Started again for a few months about a couple years back. I used stress as an excuse. Then quit cold turkey again after realizing only I had the power to change this. Good luck to you if you're quitting!

Weight fluctuates daily. What you saw was a fluctuation due to water weight. You can weighone thing and then another in a matter of hours. Only weigh once a day, IF that. It would be better to pick a day in the week and then weigh that day every week. That way you avoid the daily fluctuation frustrations that you are…

The FDA doe snot require manufacturers to list potassium on their labels so you are probably getting a lot more than you think (or MFP says) you are.
-
Simple answer- yes. Log everything. Drink a lot of water. Keep your sodium under control. If you see a gain on the scale but you have been eating right then you have not gained fat, it is most likely water retention. Sodium causes this, as does working out (muscle repair requires water). Drink extra water to flush out the…

Monitor your salt and drink enough water. Salt causes water retention. Water flushes out excess water.
-
Plan for it. Eat a lighter breakfast and/or dinner. Enter your daily meals ahead of time so you know how much you can eat at work.
-
Exercise causes your muscles to retain water for repair. Drink extra for the next few days and flush out the retention. You did not gain any fat if youe were in a deficit, nor did you gain muscle in one week. It is most definitely water weight.

Being a fan of hard rock does not, by any means, mean you have to like every band that is considered hard rock. That's like saying if you like fruit then you have to like apples.

Fav- Band of Horses Least fav- Nickelback

I know you asked the guys but I thought I's answer too. My husband does all of the yard work every week and I do the major house cleaning once a week. As far as the daily cleaning chores go, however, (laundry, dishes, picking up after one's self, taking out the trash) we share those responsibilities.

Eat more calorie dense foods. Instead of the egg white eat the whole damn egg. Instead of light cheese have a normal piece. Instead of skim milk drink 2%. Your diary is private so I am unsure as to what you are eating but if you are having trouble getting your calories in then you probably don't need to be cutting them in…

Twice your daily cals? Smirnoff ice is 228 cals and a serving of doritos is 140. So, two servings of each is 736. Is your daily goal 368 cals? Lol! Anyhoo, I wish I had a smirnoff and doritos right about now. :)
