You're hoping to keep struggling?

Old/bad scale? Maybe it's time to invest in a new one. If it's not calibrated properly it can be all over the place.

If you don't weigh until Friday how do you know you haven't lost any this week yet? If you are weighing every day and just logging on Fridays then maybe you should stop that. That is why people say to only weigh once a week. You fluctuate so much during a week's time and some of us just can't handle seeing that scale stay…

The meat is for added flavor. Seems you could follow just about any recipe and just omit the meat.

Agreed. Spot reducing just isn't possible. Fat comes off where it wants to come off. People lose it in different areas first. Unfortunately mine usually starts in the chest region.

NET calories are the amount of calories you consume minus the amount burned through exercise. You want to allow yourself at least 1200 calories on top of anything burned through exercise.
-
Great point. :)
-
True. The overall point is to be healthy. But how is that accomplished with a website? Via tracking calories in and calories out (as far as weight loss is concerned). You are right about the expense thing.

Deciding a week in advance if I can eat that one bad thing on Saturday if I just eat 200 cals lower today...
-
Well, yes. The whole point of this site is to track calories consumed and burned.
-
To calculate calories burned so you can accurately log them?

I am in absolute agreement here. Love, love, LOVE the tops. I was so excited about the sandwiches. SO GROSS!!!! No flavor, drippy watery ick leaks out of the eggs, and you're right, the bread=cardboard! I made the next one with an added slice of 2% part skim american cheese and a tablespoon of salsa. Much better! Oh, and…

I'm 5'7.5". I started at 147 and I am now at 133 and happy. :)

Fluctuating calories is actually a great thing. It keeps your metabolism going and from getting too used to the same ol same ol. On an extreme level it is called zig zagging. I totally agree on the water comment! Not sure if you are just not logging or actually not drinking....But drink up babe! It makes quite the…

Every single day for me.

AGREED! I hate working out. But I love to ride my bike outdoors. So now that's how I get my exercise in. :)

LOVE them. I eat them for dessert. I heat a chocolate one up for 30 seconds and then top it with Eating Right no sgar added vanilla ice cream (90 cals for 1/2 cup).

Two cups raw or 1/2 cup steamed (cooked/steamed/sauteed=no matter). Either way should yield similar results.

When I did the South Beach Diet they had a recipe where you mixed ricotta with cocoa and artificial sweetener. Both to your liking. It was sooooooooooo good!

What you're experiencing comes from the depression felt after losing someone you loved. It is normal to lose motivation. I know this is cliche but time really does heal all wounds. You will come out of this alright in the end. You will come out even better if you tell yourself that you are worth more than this depression…

I don't think it's possible to burn 71 calories in 2 minutes. Is it?
-
Why not just eat some, log it, and eat accordingly the rest of the day without going over? Seems the best way to knock out a craving is to first do what you did (trying to sastify it in a healthy way) but if that didn't work then just indulge once. This is a lifestyle change, not a death sentence. You can still eat the…

You need to go to a regular computer, log in there, and then print it. There's a print tab at the bottom of the food diary screen that says view full report (printable).

Calorie/weight wise I'd say no it doesn't matter. But if there ever comes a time when you need to figure out where you are "going wrong" it would be beneficial to know the times of day you are grazing more.

You made a great decision to weigh in once weekly. The weeks where the day I weigh in gives me bad results I just drink double my water for two days and get back on the scale. It always comes right off! Our bodeis retain water so very easily. Sodium, low water intake, girly time, and extra working out can all contribute.…

Victoria Secret's Heavenly or Strawberries and Champagne body spray. I also indulge in a lil cotton candy body spray when I'm feelin' frisky. :)

Sugar-free jelly bellys! The label even warns for a laxative effect.

1200 + exercise calories is the MINIMUM you should eat, ever.
