Eh, not really a fan of their later stuff. It's ok, but...I'll check out their latest album, but it's definitely not on the 'run-out-and-buy-as-soon-as-it's-released' list.

The Wiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrdddddddd!!!!!!! Need to get that album. What do you think of new YOB?
-
Awesome, well done on the hard work! :)
-
Great idea! Will definitely be doing that! (and will post on weigh in day, Monday fortnight-ly)
-
I'm still here! And still loving the group. I don't post a lot because don't have much to say- I'm weighing in every two weeks so never much to report there (but it's going well!). But there are some great people on here, and even if I don't post a lot I feel supported just being here, and visiting occasionally

 Really pleased to be in this group too! To continue the journey metaphor- when you travel with companions, and you step across rocky ground and stumble there are people around you to catch and steady you, and you are there to do the same when they find themselves on uneven ground.
-
What to you think of it? I hate the beginning minute of the album, but really enjoying the rest. I will always miss his death meal vox, but they still put out excellent music (apart from Heritage), so can't complain...

Been listening to some Type O Negative, but mainly Woods of Ypres. There are far worse things to binge on  But not happy music, well, the actual music itself or the fact that the world is that much poorer without Pete Steele and David Gold.

It's a journey, not a sprint. There will be obstacles and hills to climb, days where you're tired and can't be bothered or just can't. The thing to remember is that you're still going forward. Look at your despondency and slight slacking as a hill to climb. It's tough, you feel like giving up because you're going uphill…

I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it... I have intermittent grasp on this plot we speak of
-
Thanks for the recommendations, will definitely check those out! (the only ones I know quite well from that list are In Flames and Lamb of God)
-
I haven't lost the plot today, but I feel like I'm going to... Trying to just remember to keep on going. Argh! Right. *tries to reset brain* Have a good day all!

I'm a like what I like person, but the subdivisions are useful sometimes. For example- if a band is described as power metal then there's very little chance I'll like them... I also quite enjoy the sub-divisions in terms of placing bands, their origin and sound in context of the evolution of metal (really enjoy Sam Dunn's…

I've been thinking of doing it, but haven't gotten around to actually putting this vague thought into action. It looks good, and killer!
-
Hey! Not weighing in today- I started a couple of days early and promised myself I'd wait two weeks for my first weigh-in! So will let you know on Monday how it's going! :) Congratulations on the loss- that's brilliant! :)

Hi! I've been wondering the same thing- everyone's exercise of choice! I like running, but my gait is wrong (trying to correct this) so I keep getting shinsplints. I also use the rowing machine (great all-body workout) at the gym and do yoga relatively regularly- 1-2 times a week, which I love. But my absolute highlight is…

Wow, hope you have an incredible time!
-
Hey, I've just started out on MFP and logging every day! Also decided that that time for excuses was over. Very motivated, and keen to motivate others. Feel free to add me if you like!
-
Good morning!! This group is definitely one of my motivations- thank you so much alexrichaa for starting it! :) I've stuck to it, and also determined to get to my goal my Christmas! Very happy by how this week has gone, and looking forward to week 2 and getting even further along in our countdown to Christmas. I've already…

Had two goals- keep under my calorie count and only have two chocolates from the two boxes I was given today. Achieved both! Bit too much under calorie goal though- busy day, lots of exercise, ended up being 600 under- eek!
-
Day 2- yoga this morning, kung fu this evening, calories in check, 2 litres of water so far. So far, so good...
-
Mini goal for today- only eat 2 of the chocolates out of the TWO BOXES of chocolate that I have just received. Universe, why are testing my resolve by giving me chocolate?
-
Ditto!
-
My mini goal for today was to go to the gym, and have just got back! 90 minutes ashtanga yoga and a quick 15 minute jog. Tomorrow- limit junk food and if I do have to keep it within calorie limits. (I'm aiming to cut it out completely, but tomorrow is an exception) Don't eat back too many of my exercise calories.

Hi All! I'm Cat and I'm 34. I'm 5'2, so carrying a lot for my short frame. My overall goal is to lose 20 kg (from 73 to 53 kg/160 lb to 117 lb), and I want to get a close to this as possible by Christmas. I'm on day 3 of calorie counting. I exercise regularly, but want to add more cardio into this and perhaps some other…

It can be done! Here's to Christmas! :)
-
20 kg by Christmas. It's a big target, and will get more difficult as I approach my target weight. So my goal is to get as close as possible, and need all the motivation I can get!

In no order, and with the caveat that the list itself probably changes on a daily basis (so much good music out there!) Gojira Emperor Devin Townsend Primordial Converge Meshuggah Opeth Shining (sweden) Tool YOB
-
Just joined too! I listen to a wide variety of stuff within the multitude of metal genres, but my preferences tend to lie on the heavier side. Currently listening to the latest YOB album, and deciding whether I like Opeth's new direction (hated Heritage, but Pale Communion is shaping up quite well, although I do miss the…

Way too many bands to list- I blame music festivals So- some of the random highlights (I will forget many): I saw Emperor a few months ago, playing all of In the Nightside Eclipse, 20th anniversary tour. One of my all-time highlights. Gojira Converge Primordial Devin Townsend Tool Opeth Meshuggah Absu Bloodbath A Perfect…
