  • I hope you can see now, with these pictures- one after the other, how much of a change you've made- and be super proud of yourself. This is major! You really look fantastic- and must feel so much healthier!
  • Isn't being cold the worst? I hate it so much I now do the snowbird thing- 6 months in the Caribbean and 6 back on Cape Cod. I guess that isn't viable for everyone though. Lots of tea, spicy foods and a hot water bottle on my feet always helped.
  • Yeah- canned soup= blahg. It's so easy to saute up some veggies, throw in a can of chickpeas, some broth and wizz half of it up in a blender, mix it back in- and you've made an awesome soup! Soup rules!
  • Zuzanna is awesome at- http://www.bodyrock.tv/ She does lots of body weight only exercises, they'll kick your @ss. I'm sore right now from one I did 2 days ago!
  • Wow- lots of us 5'5''ers. Me too at 5'5'' and 3/8ths- they're very important, heh. Starting weight was 140, now I'm around 130 (gave my scale away to a friend 2 weeks ago and am trying to see how long I can "weight" it out 'til I break and buy a new one). Goal for me is around 125 I think, or even my weight right now as…
  • I see a lot of carbohydrates and a lot of sugar, not enough protein and barely any fruit and vegetables. I would try to add more veggies and fruit and less white flour foods. Good luck, it's a struggle, I know.
  • 5'5''3/8, 130 pounds, size 8, tops medium.
  • LOVE green smoothies! My favorites are fairly plain, made one today with baby spinach, watermelon, water and ice. So good. I also like to add spinach to protein powder and water shakes. Coconut water, frozen berries and spinach is good too.
  • Best was either my lunch of tuna and chickpea salad or dinner where I made chicken meatloaf with grilled asparagus. The worst was definitely the piece of chocolate cake I had as a snack between the two good meals!
  • I'm thankful everyday I don't have children.
  • I too have seen the 80% diet, but 20% exercise- genetics in there makes sense too. I love food as well- too bad you can sweat your a** off and only burn enough calories for a cookie. I've also seen diet is 80/20 so you don't have to eat perfectly to still see results, just most of the time. It be impossible to stick to if…
  • I look very similar to your before picture so this was super motivating to me- thank you! You look incredible! I don't know if I could ever look as fantastic and muscular as you do now though, it seems like a fantasy- it must really take a lot of dedication. Can I ask your gym routine, how many days a week, and for how…
  • this took a little while to think of- 1. I have a well proportioned, hourglass figure 2. Good skin, I get the most compliments on my skin (all I can think of when they do is of how awful my skin was in high school, I still feel like it's bad) 3. Nice hands and nails
  • that does sound good- I'm imagining it tasting kinda like tuna noodle casserole, without the noodles. Mmm
  • I'm so glad you posted this! IF has helped me stop obsessing about the next thing going in my mouth, and lets me finally feel full while counting calories. I feel so much better not eating breakfast before my hourly walk/jog, so much information told me this was wrong- it's nice to get some info that it's fine to do what…
  • Congratulations! I know how hard that is- I had to do a 5 day raw food only detox to sever my ties with diet soda. It's tough.
  • Really fantastic job! You look incredible!!!
  • I'm 5'5'' and 3/8ths- yep those 3/8ths are important. Currently 130, goal weight 125- but more than getting down to the goal weight, I'd like to gain muscle as I'm losing.
  • My favorite way is very simple, and no cooking needed- cut it into cubes and add soy sauce, fresh grated ginger root and a few drops of toasted sesame oil. If I have scallions I'll add that too. I'll do this to a whole brick and leave it in the fridge like that, it's even better a day later after it's been marinating. Good…
  • Real butter. Actually I enjoy most of my favorite foods- just not as often or in such massive quantities.
  • I jogged for a mile myself without stopping yesterday! Usually I do a combo fast walk/slow jog for an hour 5 days a week, but I went to a new spot where a mile was marked out and I jogged the whole mile straight. It feels great doesn't it?
