I've been doing Zumba for several months in socks, but I had a hard time with the quick squats (slipping a little too much). So I got these super cute dance shoes. They don't have a lot of tread, just enough to grab when it's necessary. I LOVE them! http://www.dancewearsolutions.com/dance_shoes/sneakers/P45M.aspx

Yes, it's awesome! This site has become my new addiction. The support is the best out there!

Oh my gosh, tell me about it! But you can't give up. I work out almost daily and am always under my calorie goal, but have actually gained this last month. Eventually it'll happen. You just have to be VERY patient. I know it's tough. Stay with it! :o)

Yes. You need to get one with a chest strap. You put in all your info (weight, height, etc), and depending on your heart rate, it'll tell you how many calories burned. VERY useful.

Easiest way I'd say is to get a heart rate monitor for accuracy. In the mean time I'd add it as high impact aerobics.

Yay for the 30's!!!

Wow! You look fantastic! It's amazing what 25 pounds will do!

That's funny, I feel the same way! I HATE my before pictures. Actually I've only found one that suits my purposes. I wouldn't take an actual "before" picture when this began. But I did find a fat girl picture. I'm waiting for the big 5-0 to release it. :o)

Not at all. I always forget I'm wearing it.

I think I have the Polar F6 too...but in BLUE! :o) I love it. The chest strap is a must.

Ahhh, the million dollar question! :o) I have the same problem. I do great, and then all of a sudden...nothing. I find that when I stall, I have to limit my carbs and sugar for a while. I wish I could get rid of them forever, but they're just so GOOD!!! :oD I really wish I knew the answer, but I think you just have to find…

Well, I actually had knee surgery 4 years ago for a torn medial meniscus. When they got inside, they noticed my ACL was completely gone as well. The meniscus was repaired, but my doctor actually said I don't need my ACL (I'm still skeptical). The only problem I have with running is the instability when my legs turn to…

I feel the exact same way! It's very frustrating. My doctor says I MUST be doing something wrong...missing some calories somewhere, not getting enough protein, not drinking enough water. I honestly don't know what to tell you, but that it happens to a lot of us...unfortunately.
