I sort of made the Saucy Pasta Swap from 1-2-3 tonight (well, I cheated and used premade spaghetti sauce because I forgot to go get a couple of ingredients) but the broccoli slaw instead of noodles was actually really good! They had a great texture.

I don't mind the lunges. Anything lower body is okay, but the dumbbell press with the squat gets me. It kills my arms! I know, I know, that's how I know its working...and bicycle crunches really ARE the devil.

L1D2 completed...and I still hate bicycle crunches...I do okay until she gets to those. I am a wimp and only use 2 lb. weights right now though. *L*

I like a diet soda with my meals. I don't drink them much just sitting around or snacking. I love my water or Crystal Light or V8 for that...but when I am eating a real meal, for some reason, I always want a soda or Splenda tea. Maybe its the Southern girl in me, growing up with sweet tea at every meal.

If you're not eating enough calories, your body goes into starvation mode and starts conserving calories. Your metabolism drops, and you will gain or maintain weight instead of losing it.

I do the same thing! I was so good with this site for about three months, then just kind of fell off. Right now, I'm really motivated again, but I'm afraid that I'll just give up or get distracted again.

It's not really a fitness app...but have you tried Just Dance? It's amazingly silly and fun, but it's also an awesome workout!

I upped my exercise too. I'm still doing cardio, but I'm trying to add in some of my workout DVDs (I did L1D1 of the Shred last night). I'm just really hoping that it doesn't have the OPPOSITE effect short-term.

I think almost everyone here knows about THE FEAR! I know I've tried many diets and never stuck to them for very long. This is even more extreme in a way because it's a lifestyle change, not just a short term filler. I'm very, very scared that I'll just give up or I won't be able to get where I want to.

Just the plain Wii Sports game is pretty fun, and you can work up a sweat playing the boxing and the tennis.

I tried not eating anything when I was just getting a nibbly sweets craving. I just wanted really really bad for me foods even more. I have a killer sweet tooth, so if I satisfy it early with fruit it doesn't get anywhere near as bad later.
