  • Hi! I started my journey after I had no clothes that fit. I was doing great until October when I had a bicycle accident and broke my arm. It’s seriously hindered my ability to exercise so I’ve had to double down on a calorie deficit with it as much help. Starting weight: ?? I was too afraid to get on the scale. size 20+…
  • These answers are great but still over my head a little to be honest. I’ll stop hitting the workout option for now as it seems like the simplest solution. Thanks guys.
  • I’m using an Apple Watch and set it as exercise just to close my exercise ring. I’m not intentionally logging it twice?
  • I started it for the 3rd time in October. When I finished week 5 and had the accomplishment of running 20 mins, I veered off track and just kept running 20 mins adding a few minutes here and there. Today I ran an easy 3 miler. I'm starting to train for a half in January and have been running 10-12+ miles a week for the…
  • 1. Here we go! 2. Which way? 3. How far was I going to go again? 4. I feel so terrible- keep going. After the first mile I'll feel good 5. Why did I think this would get better after a mile? 6. That walker in front of me is going the same pace I am! At least I'm behind her so she won't know. 7. OMG she stopped to let her…
  • When running "my feet are fast, my legs are strong so I can do this all day long!" When lifting "someday I won't be able to do this. Today is NOT that day"

  • I just wanted to add my encouragement. I started it in October 2013. Took me 14 weeks because I was very overweight, out of shape and repeated a lot of weeks. Yesterday I ran 5 miles. I'm running 12-15 miles a week and just signed up for a half marathon in January. I've also lost 45 pounds. I hated running at first. I…

  • Oh yeah. I forgot to add my meals. I eat a quick something before I hit the gym at 2:30. Then big family dinner 5:30p. I usually don't have a chance to eat at work til midnight. Then I'll have a small snack at 5-6a. So when I'm working, I eat 4 times a day, but only 2 actual meals.
  • I work 7p-7a and have never enjoyed life more! My typical schedule looks like this 7p-7a: work 7:30a-2:30p: sleep 2:30p: exercise! Then shower and change 4p: pick up my kids from daycare/preschool and make dinner, playtime (kids are 1 and 3) 5:30p: hubby gets home for family dinner 6:30p: get ready for work while kids get…
  • Several years ago =more than a decade. Since them I finished school, got married, and had two kids. The 233 was post partum and I was 203 the day I found out I was pregnant with my second. 198 when I got pregnant with my first. 140--> 233 sounds terrible in a few years. It wasn't that drastic but life happens. When I got…
  • I don't disagree but it was motivating seeing the numbers drop so fast. *sigh* but I know I should start slowing it down. It will make transitioning to maintenance easier too. I don't really have a firm goal weight. I'd like to be less than 155 to put my BMI within normal range but felt good at 140 several years ago. I…
  • I work 7p-7a 3-4 days a week. I always come home and sleep til 2:30p then hit the gym. I still have time to get home shower and make a healthy sitdown dinner for the family before heading back to work. It's hard. I'm tired, but it works.
  • We are almost exactly the same. I'm 5'6.5" SW 216. CW this am 182. My first goal is 155 (BMI under 25!) with an ultimate goal of 145-150.
