I was taking this faithfully since the first of June, then last week I stopped and my water retention shot up resulting in almost 2 pounds. I started taking them again this morning and back down by 1.5 pounds. So I am thinking they really work for me. I am retaining far more water than I thought as I do not feel heavy.

Welcome and have fun on your journey. I started seven months ago and did it slow and easy now 28 pounds lighter and a few inches gone and it has been staying off. I changed my eating habits, cut out bread and a lot of sweets however have a treat every now and then. Exercise every day, walk on the tread mill for 15 minutes…

Unfortunately only you can control what you do to your body...regarding the amount you eat, if you exercise or not. So tips are good but unless you are ready in your mind to make a committment to a new, healthy lifestyle then tips are rather useless. Start with a positive attitude that you want to get healthy (not slimmer,…

I can relate, I go away once a month during the summer and for two days there is a snack table from 8 in the morning until 8 at night then bbq's both nights and bonfires with drinks and goodies. It is hard to resist and thus the pounds go on, but luckily now I know how to shed them just as fast, cut back and exercise more.…

I have been fighting with the last five pounds for a while, nothing I do seems to help. I do the treadmill walk just before bed and sleep great it also keeps me away from the fridge a that time.

I has been four weeks since I started taking AC and I have not idea if it is AC that has helped with my recent weight loss but I have taken off 8 pounds, a regular loss daily of small amounts. I did up some of my walking by from 3.0 to 3.5 but only for 15 minutes, I have changed up the menu by doing two days of one thing…

Hi Tera, welcome. I have lost 26 in the last six months and am headed for another 3.2 to my goal weight. I may try for 8 more, but for me that would be too much. I am at a plateau right now and I need to start exercise to tighten up the stomach and arms. How have you been making this work? I know I need to up the intensity…

From some of what I have read, we do not eat our meals properly, taking time to chew each mouth full and waiting between courses to eat the next round. The body needs time to know it is full and when we woof down our food that does not happen. Would love to hear if that is even close or what is the real reason as it…

Don't get discouraged, I noticed that I don't have much movement on the hip and bust measurements or tummy, but I am losing so not sure where it is going from . My friend says my face is way thinner and legs are toner . Anyway , the first month you may be building some muscle which is heavy but good muscle burns fat so…

Congratulations you are doing wonderful. I live with a smoker who is gaining weight, I work with so many who are suffering through their later years with cancer from smoking and obesity, no quality of life, but the light bulb has to go on and yours is shining brightly. Just think, you will walk your daughter down the isle…

I have been trying to find out what the MOtHER properties are, can you explain. I have been taking ACL tablet now for a week or so and I don't know if they are the reason but I have dropped 3 pounds and I am feeling great. So will keep taking them. they aren't doing any harm.

Everyone carries their weight differently and their muscle mass. I am tall and look slim so people say I could never have been 203 pounds when i was that weight. The battery can be the problem, my scale was showing me 5 pounds heavier than I was and new battery changed it by a little. Also if your scales are not sitting…

5'10" was 5' 10 1/2 " but you do shrink as you age. Hated being tall, skinny and stick arms and large feet when in my younger years. Everyone commented that I wore boats for shoes and you would not catch me dead in a short sleeved shirt. I got lots of dance partners from short guys because guess what they liked the shelf…

Don't forget you will also build some muscle which weighs more, so measure yourself also and watch the inches disappear too. You may be able to achieve that but what comes off fast doesn't always stay off, so slow and steady wins the race, eat healthy follow Canada's food guide, you can find it by googling it. Good luck…

Welcome and enjoy the journey. Your heart will thank you as the weight comes off. Set small goals, they are much easier to achieve. I weigh in on my WII and I set a goal of 2 pounds in 2 weeks and it is so much fun when the WII tells me I have reached that goal early, then I set the next one, not paying attention to the…

Hi there, sometimes when you are really tired you have to commit to doing the exercise anyway...you will be surprised how good you feel after wards. Hope you get some sleep and take one day at a time.....you can do it. I just marked in 15 minutes of walking in my exercise diary. It is late, I have had a full day and I am…

The stairs in your house are a great exercise tool. Go up and down several times for a great workout. Just pretend you forgot something and run back up to get it. do this several times a day. Vacuuming, don't just push it around use it for lunges. Lunge into the outward sweep, pull back stand straight and repeat. Laundry,…

As a 50 something mom, my motavation came when my grandaughter came along and I realized if I wanted to keep up with her then the weight had to come off. The doctor telling me I had to or else helped also. Unfortunately there is more going on then the weight. We humans for some reason need to have other needs met in order…

A very good friend told me not to make big goals in a certain amount of time, she said to make small goals, such as 2 pounds at a time and stay faithful to your exercise and food cutback or changes and then the big goals will appear on their own. Good luck with your new life journey.

It is a lovely name, very old school. Think of what she may get pinned with as she grows up Milly, Tilley, Mil, Mat, etc. Remember kids have to live with their name long after you are gone :). Some of the new age names are way out there and I just can't imagine a child growing up being called Moonbeam all their lives. The…

Welcome, the community is great to read and hear peoples success and suggestions on exercise. You will soon learn where to look for inspiration. Just tracking the food and exercise is such a help to stay on track. All the best.

You have so much to rejoice about , new baby, new home and a wedding to the one you love! Feel good about all that and then you will get the motavation to feel good about changing your weight. I betcha that the depression is the baby blues and that too will pass. Strap the baby into a sling carrier to ad extra weight while…

Personally I need the scale to keep me going. I find if I don't weigh in everyday, morning and night then I get off track. If the number is down I cheer and if the number is up I go walk some more and really watch what I eat that day. The reason I do both am and pm is that you weigh more at night then in the morning and I…

One day at a time, don't set any large goals, start by just setting a small goal of say 2 pounds and so on. Think of this journey as getting healthy, not of losing weight, the weight will go as you start changing your eating habits and exercise, baby steps. Speaking of that I don't know how old your litte one is but you…

I haven't taken classes but I have the zumba for the wii and have only watched it. It is a vigourous work out and what I like is that it takes you through all the dances step by step so you can learn them first before turning up the work out. The music is fantastic, I just have to get off my chair and do it. There is a…
