  • You could be losing inches :) Don't forget to track mesaurements. :) Good luck.
  • I have been doing low carb since August. It is a lifestyle change for me due to sugar cravings and inability to portion control whe indulging in carbs. I enjoy the lack of cravings, less hunger, more variety, easier eating out and have find ways to have all my favorites easily, tomato pasta meat sauce over spaghetti…
  • Here at local pasta places, they will replace the pasta with broccolli and put a cream sauce, sometimes with mushrooms, peppers, shrimp or chicken over top. yum! Seafood places like Red Lobster will substitute baked potato with double broccolli. At McDonalds drive thru the other day my husband got extra bacon subbed for…
  • Just tried these and loved them!!?
  • The link i posted was their Nutrional information. Maybe I will call. Just wondered if anyone had specfic information.
  • Try and Up your protein at dinner time. Also make sure you have drank lots of water. If those both were in place, then eat! Almonds, peanutbutter, protein shake, fruit, hummus and veggies, popcorn, rice cakes (salty though) were my faves when counting calories. I am doing low carb right now, so my fave snack is jalepeno…
  • My father suffered from bouts of this. He found he was told to avoid small seeds and nuts as they would get stuck in the folds. This was a few years back so perhaps they have changed how they handle it. He also found bacon and popcorn to be avoided.
  • I have finally been able to reserve some funds for the kettlebells and a few dvd's! I just need the time to get them now! I am so excited to try!
  • I think sometimes people notice but they are afraid to say much, in case it insinuated you were fat before, kwim? In my last weight loss, this time last year, it took over 25 pounds. I do hide my weight well though.
  • Big difference! Is the dress able to be altered by June? it isn't going to fit!
  • I took some time off to go to weight watchers. That didn't work out- and i was so glad to have a dozen or so good friends still here when i came back.I also had a few pages of others. I have searched for some more like=minded friends on here- either people who enjoy the same exercise, people around the same age with kids,…
  • Did you make sure it was wet enough on the strap? Did you change your workout bra? i have one bra, that if i'm too lazy to change, pushes on the strap, if i don't push the chest strap under my bra and makes it stop reading. I have never had the issues you mentioned otherwise. Hope you can get it fixed, i love mine!
  • I hope your journey is great! WTG for commiting !
  • I go over on purpose :)
  • This site is awesome. When i eat on track i feel 100x better and have so much more energy.
  • You will get there your own way! I'm sure people will stop with the stupid comments soon when you can't be swayed. Perhaps peoples comments, however misguided are meant to be supportive?? People can be dumb lol. I try to keep fb weight posts to big things like when i hit 30 pounds lost this time last year (gain some back…
  • I find if i;m on track the entire month before- ToM is much better, with less symptoms. This last time for me, i only had the day my period arrived (it arrived late evening) and the next day as hard for cravings. I have huge carb cravings during this time and its so hard to stay true. I only had a little slip up (wayyy…
  • I don't eat those things daily, or even pizza weekly, but i allow them. If i get too restrictive, i binge. Have been eating exceptionally clean lately and really enjoying the lack of cravings i'm having- seems if i allow one, i can use my willpower and not eat more but i crave for hours. If i eat clean and reduce carbs i'm…
  • I aim to go over. Keeps me full- and if i eat all my lean protein in my meal, it keeps my carbs low and keeps me satisfied longer.
  • I think I read somewhere the main reason people don't like to up their protein too high, is that it can hurt your kindneys if you aren't drinking enough to flush them. I drink lots and also aim to have a very high level of protein. It helps keep me full :)
  • wtg!
  • *WATER water water! If you get sick of water, alternate lots of ice, fresh lime or lemon, nestea singles in moderation etc to change it up! I find my mindless need to snack is due to thirst sometimes. * Eat more at meals. Upping your protein to half your body weight (so if you weigh 100 pounds, get 50g of protein min) will…
  • I am Canadian and the storms in the US, our canadian election and the Royal Wedding are all getting a lot of time in the media. The pictures of those tornados are terrifying and my thoughts have been with the people in those areas. I admit to enjoying some highlights from the wedding but did not get up in the night to…
  • This is something i conquered about a year ago. Not really just their plates but what is left in the serving dishes. I also run a home daycare and i make healthy choices for the daycare like wrap pizzas, quesidillas and grill cheese (whole wheat bread and real cheese) that just don't fit into my daily calorie or sodium…
  • That is an awesome loss! WTG
