  • I'm starting my sixth week right now, and have signed up for VIP. I am loving it. My biggest advice is to plan our your day ahead of time so you can meet your macros, and really use prep week to learn everything. Good luck!
  • Please add me! I’m 41. Struggling to lose ten pounds that seems to have located allllll in my belly. Can’t get the scale to budge. Just want my pants to fit and to be healthy. Work full time and have two toddlers so struggle to find time for exercise and healthy cooking or even tracking but reallllllly want to lose this…
  • I failed at zero Monday. My 2 year old y'all - he is something else right now. DH and I were SO FREAKIN worn out and just .... bleary-eyed by 6:30 pm that I caved and poured a glass of white bc I had an open bottle in fridge. Had one more, then a glass of red. That was it. Had a GREAT food and activity day so there were…
  • I've been failing this week. Out to dinner Wednesday with a friend. Only had two glasses bc had to drive, but then got home and wanted to watch one of my fave new shows to unwind (Pretty Little Lies, HBO) and I felt like a glass of red would go so well with it. So that was a 3 night. Last night, had no plans to drink but…
  • Thanks for the welcome!
  • Hello! Just joined and so happy to have found this group. Wine is my downfall. Well, and cheese, and sweets. And my husband brews beer for a living so we always have good craft beer around. I don't like liquor so I have that going for me (ha?). Anyway, I just turned 40, had my second child in under 2 years about 9 months…
  • I try and check the scale every day.. I want to... I like to. I know there are many factors but it helps me keep on track. And if I lose, boy do I feel rewarded and even more motivated. Lately the scale hasn't really budged, even though I've been back on track more than ever. Working out a LOT, keeping within my calorie…
  • I'm a fan of the wine and try to keep it to two glasses a night. My trainer says that it is okay in moderation, especially if you have the calories and are eating well and not doing this late at night. I only have about ten to lose, and I bet if I gave up wine altogether, I would lose it quickly. But that's not going to…

  • This is me. I have 15 to lose. I'd be happy with at least 10. It's arduous!
  • I keep falling off track on weekends. And so I'm just losing and gaining the same 5 lbs - not making actual progress, and I've been doing this for a month. I need to lose 15 lbs. I'm frustrated. I think I fell off the wagon this weekend bc I was so hungry all last week. 1200 calories is just not a lot IMHO. Definitely…
  • And, yesterday was one of those days for me so I came back to reread this. My calorie goal is 1200 right now, and I had about 2500 yesterday. (&%@$ And, it had been such a good week!
  • I had heard good things, esp that you get a great workout but that it's fun, so I bought Wii Zumba 2. I've only done it once and liked it a lot, but it was HARD. I've never done much dancing and I found I was stumbling along a lot. Maybe if I just keep moving a lot? Or maybe I'll just get better with time!
  • This is great - thank you. Helps me keep perspective!
  • Thank you, londoneye! That helps. :-)
  • bumping my own thread bc I'd love some input!!!
  • One more question actually - what is "base" weight?
  • Hi. I am a 35 year old female. 5'8" and 145 lbs. Up until about a year ago, I had weighed 135 my entire adult life. Nothing has changed except age. In fact I am probably more active than I used to be, and eat more nutritiously. Anyway I have been using MFP to log calories and exercise, and I've focused on eating…
  • I also am back on the site trying it out again, and started Insanity a few days ago. I'm on day 4 I guess. I also use the Weight WAtchers online tools but wondering if I should use MFP for food entry as well. I'm just so used to WW online tracker. Question - how does one track Insanity workouts here? What do you enter? I…
