This was a good hike - my first hard one. It was great for building confidence and also making me aware how much I have to improve quads :) still working on it. :)

@NorthCascades - appreciate that tip; I didn't know about the free rescue. That is a good way to encourage the outdoor activities. I just checked the NoCA trails. That area is breathtakingly beautiful. I am going to go there sooner than later. I will start with the day trips

I am catching this now. I goto Gold Gym Redmond during the week and usually do a Trail/Hike Saturday mornings
