  • I like rainbow rolls - around 500 calories per roll. Different types of raw fish on top of a california roll basically.
  • I agree with IveLanded. I run an average of 25-30 miles a week (which I consider pretty intense cardio) and I am told that I am burning less than 600 calories per hour. I only burned 1300 calories in one day with exercise when I ran a half marathon (2+ hours of running). I don't think it is likely you are burning 1000…
  • I use those light laughing cow swiss cheeses on my baby carrots. They're only 35 calories per wedge and they have different flavors like french onion and bleu cheese. They're also more portable for when I pack my lunch, since they are already wrapped.
  • I also use Oxyelite Pro when I am trying to get "back on the wagon" with running. It gives me an extra boost in the afternoons when I am about to get out of work and go run. However, I did take it for longer than the recommended 8 weeks when I was training for a half marathon and I did experience some pretty weird shifts…
  • Same for me. I have been running for just over a year. One day I realized I hadn't run in a week and I started having withdrawals. It helps if you can find a nice park with eye candy too... :)
  • I started off as a heel strike gal as well, and my knees are really hating me for it now. I bought some less cushioned shoes, which I've heard help you in learning to run as a midfoot or forefoot strike. I think it is helping me. I've increased my mileage per week and my knees hurt about the same (I think I am still…
  • J: It has been that time and then also too I did just add weights on top of that. I'm down 3 lbs but still over what I was before. Perhaps I am just "swelling" Haha.
  • They are tighter in the tummy area and my boobs have gained weight too. So I guess everywhere. My legs I haven't seen a real difference. Sigh. IDK.
  • I only ask about increasing because my muscles feel really fatigued and I'm starving most of the time if I only eat back my exercise calories. I just feel like my body in this shape burns more calories at rest than MFP is accounting for.
  • "Ranger Panties" work for me. They're really thin and lightweight and they dry very quickly. They have the built in panties so you don't have to worry about those bunching up either. They're pretty cheap too, only $8 or so a pair. I buy mine from Soffe.
  • I've used it on a few separate occasions to get back into my routine of gym time. It gives me the extra "motivation" I need to take myself to the gym after work. It makes me more energetic, but does not make me jittery. It also is great at appetite suppression. However, I do not take the double dose as recommended after so…
  • I will vouch for the slower burn rate as well. I use the Nike+ app on my iPod and as soon as I entered a lower weight the app gave me less calories for running the same distance at the same rate. Just the *downside* of being skinnier! :)
  • I'm a product of the C25K myself. I hated running before I started the program and now I am averaging between 10 and 15 miles a week. The program tells you when to run and when to walk and before you realize it you're running a full 5K. Once you are able to run this distance I doubt the elliptical will be a big enough…
  • I looked up California Rolls and Veggie Rolls and they both seem to be under 400 calories for 6 pieces. I found that 6 pieces and a bowl of the mushroom soup was more than enough to fill me up.
