You don't have to mash the beans, they held together. I think the cheese kind of works as the "glue". :) I made a 6" diameter 1" inch think burger and I calculated about 332 calories. We grilled them on a George Forman Grill. It was sooooo yummy!

What time of day are you weighing yourself? Your weight will always flucuate throughout the day because of eating and water weight. My suggestion is that you weigh yourself once a week. In addition only weigh yourself in the morning after you wake up, before you eat anything. This will give you a consistent reading to…

Cardio! There is no faster way to take any weight off than jogging/running/swimming, etc. Pick your poison. :) And use MFP to balance your calories while you do it. Good luck!

Maybe yoga? But you'd have to be careful because certain positions would be great, while others would be terrible for your knees. How about hula hooping? Fun and low impact! :)

A sick child will always trump working out at the gym. Take care of your little one and you'll be fine til Monday. If the child naps, run a few minutes up and down stairs, do some squats or pushups, jumping jacks, etc. That way you'll fit in a little activity. Or clean the house. That burns calories too and you can log it…

I agree with everyone's thoughts. You are doing great so far. Here are a couple ideas if you are worried about processed food and sodium. 1. If you work from home, make some more meals from scratch (or semi-scratch). If you hate cooking (like I do!) then look for easy, healthy recipes. Plus you can cook on Sunday make some…

I agree. If you're really serious, it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. The key word is healthy! Feel free to send me a friend request. I'd be happy to share thoughts with you. Make sure you share your daily meals with everyone, or else we can't offer any ideas. This is a setting you will find. The key to exercise is…

At same time, cook noodles to package directions. Dice and…

I'm conflicted on what to tell you. My first instinct is to tell you that you are too worried about the numbers. Don't focus on them so much. Just take care of yourself and start watching calories and portion sizes, and squeeze in any activity you can. Soon you will see differences in the way your clothes fit, the energy…

Making breakfast sandwiches on Sundays is a great idea! I also like a smoothie in the summer time and us nightowl/non morning people can make it the night before. The recipe I use is: 1 cup OJ 1 cup frozen fruit 1 banana (or greek yogurt) 1 scoop whey protein (usually vanilla) Hard boiled eggs are great for fast and on the…
