  • Thanks for the reply. I know less than 1200 Calories net is not good…but I don't know what to do; I have a difficult time balancing calories/carbs/fats. There are many times I am low on my calorie count but my sodium or fat is too high (I have to watch my carbs more) so i don't know how I can add more calories without…
  • Stop trying to fix this yourself, it TRULY sounds as if you need to see someone or talk to someone or be accountable to someone for not eating enough. You are way too skinny and, if you want to gain muscle…you will HAVE to gain some weight back. Just out of curiosity…how much did you actually weigh at the beginning of this…
  • My clothes are fitting better within a week or two. Took a little time for me to get the courage to get on the scale…but..it happens quickly when you exercise. But…I will say. I am trying to keep up with my measurements because those are a great guide, even if the scale is being stubborn.
  • I'm In with you also. I need a support system too. I give up and get frustrated. I need all the positive comments and constructive criticism I can get.
  • I'm IN! I need one too. I tend to get frustrated if I don't see results fast enough and give up. It is nice to have other folks "with me"
  • Don't give up. I have a tendency to do that too and I refuse this time. Keep at it. In fact...on my first week of eating healthy and working out (strength training), I actually gained...and I was pissed. But..I persevered and now the scale is going down..slowly but going down. You also may not be eating enough. They say…
  • AMAZING! Congratulations to you...for so many things. Overcoming your addiction to alcohol, losing all that weight, having these great goals and meeting them. I commend you, sir, you are quite the inspiration. It gave me pause, as I have felt like it will be an uphill battle to lose my 48 lbs...but WOW...you really had a…
  • I think people are just trying to be supportive of you..and helpful. YAY! You are lower than your goal weight...that is fantastic! but, I think, people were just trying to help and didn't intend to offend. Hate that you took it that way. It is great that we all get to lift each other up and support and help through this.…
  • Don't we all?...but the results are worth it. Keep up the good work! You can incorporate SMALL portions of those items every once in awhile, just watch your caloric intake and exercise; OCCASIONAL indulgences will help you succeed. You just have to practice a little self control so you don't over indulge or indulge too…
  • I am looking for supportive buddies too. Control of my eating is not an issue. I generally stay under 1200 calories per day. However, there are times I eat out of boredom or loneliness when my hubby is working. I am not saying I always stay "on track" but I do my best and I would say 9 times out of 10 I keep the calorie…
