I have a Pug too! Mine is named Gimli. Our Lab is named Alessandro, Alex for short.

You're amazing, you can do this. Keep it up! I didn't start with quite the same numbers as you but am also finding success in small changes. Feel free to add me if you'd like!

I totally understand this mentality: I was at my biggest when I met my now husband. I feel like he's the one because he saw through the fat and I love him so much for it.
-
That was nice of you to say! Thank you. :) I had a friend that told me she didn't want me in her wedding if I didn't lose weight. I did, but we didn't stay friends afterwards. I'm sure she's mad now that I'm in all her pictures though! Lol.

That I love plain vegetables (not covered in butter or ranch sauce). Grilled, baked, steamed, or raw. Love em. Eat em every chance I get.

I want people to be jealous of my husband, instead of wondering what he's doing with me. I'm also friends with a lot of beautiful women that have never had a weight problem and I don't want to be "the fat one" in the group anymore.

I've done both- run on an empty stomach and after breakfast (around 11am). Running before eating ensures that you are burning off fat reserves instead of food energy, but it is HARD to work out before eating because you have no energy and it's that much harder to push yourself. Running after eating ensures that you have…

Hi everyone! I'm starting week 4 tomorrow and I run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

I am in the same boat. Food just affects me to the point that I can't allow myself to have a cheat day, because I WILL go overboard and binge. I know and accept that about myself. Maybe once I fix my relationship with food, that will change, but for now, for me, a cheat day is dangerous. That's not to say I've never gone…

You're right- I do have experience. I cheated. Because I was a ****ty person with no respect for my partner or my relationship. People do make bad decisions, and they may change, but that doesn't make them any less ****ty at the time that they were engaging in the behavior. BTW, having an opinion or experience different…

There are people quoting statistics and arguing about which gender cheats more, but the answer is oh-so-simple: Cheaters (applies to men and women and people who identify with both or neither) cheat because they are ****ty people with no respect for their partner or their relationship. Period.

I'm over 200 lbs and I'm doing C25K three days a week. I jog outside in my neighborhood. At first I was self conscious, but then I realized people honestly don't care. If they notice you at all, it's fleeting. It doesn't matter what they think, what matters it that you are improving yourself.

This. I think about where I was when I got out of bootcamp, and I was 125-130. Best shape of my life. So I made that my goal.

This matters because I am in fact fat and it has in fact happened to me before (just this past weekend someone called me a walrus- literally that was his exact wording): laugh right back in their face. With this particular "gentleman" I laughed at him with all my friends until he actually got his friends and left the bar.…

Came here to post the same. I am an G and Enell is the only bra that I've ever been able to run in without pain. These things seriously work. I'm wearing it in my profile photo actually, you can tell that it locks and loads the ladies. I recommend them to everyone I know.

^This is my favorite. Mine is because I'm freckled and a bit of a rebellious woman. I always thought bad girls had the most interesting stories, in Disney fairy tales and in the Bible. I mean, doesn't everyone want to know Ursula's story? Ariel's is boring.

I've seen them look good on some, but it's definitely a polarizing "look". My white friend got them and a black lady told her that my friend was misappropriating the black lady's culture. So people have strong opinions about dreads, especially when white people have them, I find.

I'm so sorry, but I'm laughing hysterically at your typo. Long BACK hair...

I love short hair so much on women- shaved sides, fauxhawks, pixies. I wish I could pull it off. I had a pixie once and looked very... manly. Something to do with my build I guess. Plus my husband loves long hair.

I'm right there with you. I'm always VERY conscious of my size and my body. I turn sideways automatically to give people more room, even when I'm not really in the way. I always put my purse on my lap to disguise my belly. I always make sure to pose for pictures in as flattering a way as possible. But I see girls my size…

My husband and I are on a tight budget as well, so we stick to chicken and veggies. We get a whole chicken for about 8 bucks, and I roast it with lemon and herbs. A four-pound chicken lasts two people about three days if you are diligent about picking off ALL the meat. The cheapest veggie is usually broccoli, so I steam a…

Congratulations on your success so far! I am not an expert by any means, but I should say that people get energy from good carbs (whole wheat, ect) and if you start an exercise program while eating little or no carbs you might find it a little more difficult than you would otherwise. By that I mean that you might find…

No matter what you look like, there's always an *kitten* that thinks they're better than you, and gives unsolicited advice. For the record, I would love to be where you are. You're an inspiration. Keep that in mind next time some bull moose decides to start roaring.

I yell at Tony Horton (creator of P90X). He'll be on the DVD like, "OOOh, I'm feeling the burn!" and I'll just scream out "THEN HOW DO YOU THINK I FRIGGIN FEEL?!" as I'm sweating and trembling. "I HATE YOU!" My husband runs into the garage because he thinks something's wrong. :)

Thanks for the request! I'm more than willing to be communicative (I'm an English Linguistics major, so the more language the better!) I took a year of Arabic but don't ask me to speak it, I didn't do well in that class and barely passed! I am 30, recently married, and have a goal to lose 100 pounds. I am currently 228. I…

Hi everyone! I am thirty years old and have 100lbs to lose. I suffer from bipolar depression so the weight has piled on over the years. Last Tuesday I started P90X and with that and calorie counting I have lost 3 pounds so far! My challenge this week was that I got a cold, lost motivation, and haven't worked out in three…
