I think the point is lying to yourself, though. Sometimes I find it hard to accept that yes, I'm over my calories. Even if it was only that 2nd cup of coffee with 4 sugars and cream... that's why I'm over my day by 400 calories...

that is awesome! You can see a difference in your body, it looks tighter overall. good job!! but what I think is the best difference: you're smiling in the recent photo. that to me is what it's more about: FEELING good!!!

OK so I while back, I went through a hugely bad breakup, took me forever to get over. I also at the same time was battling depression, and a lot of other family / home issues that led me to basically not be able to do anything. I had a hard time even getting out of bed. Ugh. Used to complain all day, and do nothing about…

omg seriously.

HAHAHA seriously. I was an up-climber. And now I'm successful, live in a nice home, and do work that I like doing for a living. And that I get paid well to do. Honestly, the parents of the kids doing the "right" thing on the slide should encourage their kids to go up the slide sometimes too.

Slainte!! (I just have to, it's St. Patrick's day!)
-
Seriously - you look awesome! Keep going!!! Only like 105 days? That's like 3 and a half months, that's awesome results! :) You can definitely tell your middle is a lot smaller. Keep going! Then you gotta get a new shirt so we can see you!! ;) (the smaller jeans look way better!)

Gosh, how can one *possibly* choose?! Augustus Mccrae, Lonesome Dove - if you know his character I hope you love him this much. I love Gus. He's heroic and brilliant and wonderful. And sassy. bit, Tron *yes! Indiana effing Jones (nuff said) Lt. Ripley, Alien(s) - because she's amazing and hot and survives the unsurvivable…

5'7" ... So when I am thin, skinny, I'm like a 4-6, long. I mean like 140 pounds of lean tight muscle. Then I got fat! D'oh. When I was about 200 pounds, I was wearing my boyfriend's pants, 'cause mine didn't fit. I got back to 190-195, and put on my own size 14s. 185ish, I was a size 12. The past couple months I've been…

ya that's nuts. I'm cool. ... HAHAHA ... ...I mean as cool as someone wearing a SCIENCE IT WORKS BITXHES shirt, that can recite a bunch of digits of pi, and is doing laundry and programming in python on a saturday night CAN be.
-
hahahaha 200 my friend! haha now I can only do about 30 digits but at one point... 200!! I'm getting worse as I keep talking, maybe I should stop talking about being a nerd! ahahah
-
hahah ok both of you: my biggest pet peeve on this site is LOSE vs LOOSE. anyone with me?! AUUUUUUUUGH!!!

you know you're a nerd when you've done 3d IN THE UNREAL ENGINE. booya. <--- nerd on many levels haha

Thanks ladies!! :)

I posted a photo of me in a bikini (that fit, about 60 pounds less than what i am in the photo) on my bathroom mirror at home. And in the books I take to the gym: a photo of my boyfriend as a bookmark :) :)

I also disagree with the people saying it's a red flag. He doesn't sound needy at all. He sounds like a dude that's interested in you. How do I know this? Well, I'm 31, and I've dated a bunch of dudes. They just ask, when they like you. If he seems "elusive" or "hard to read" then he's NOT that into you. He's actually…

I am at home on a Saturday night on my laptop, learning to program in Python. Wearing a "SCIENCE it works, *****es" tshirt, and I'm watching dvr'd Big Bang Theory episodes (I've seen them all...) Yar I think I'm a nerd.
-
I agree with photogrl above: You effectively said "thanks but no. " already. And, to boot, he is basically pleading to go out with you, even though you already said no. He won't be there when you finally decide you're "good enough." He's not a pair of jeans you can leave in a drawer, and put on when you finally lose the…

Great job!!! You look fantastic! And really although you might not be "done" 50 pounds is nothin to sneeze at!!!!
-
Love it!! They are tough!!
-
Yeah we are!!!!

a while back, I was in OK shape. Then I started with a trainer and got into seriously awesome shape. During that time, I probably went to the gym 5 times a week: 3 days cardio, and 2 days JUST weights. My muscles were great. They don't get big or anything, just toned. My roommate (who was a fashion designer and part time…

Mile it up darlin! go go go!!! And good luck - keep going into next week if there are too many comments!! ;)
-
I don't care if it's "supposed " to be done this way - I say whatever works, works!! And Me too. I've tried weighing 1x a week - but I get super frustrated if that number goes up. So if I weigh myself every day, it allows me to see my weight fluctuate day to day, and I get less disheartened when I see it go up! I also can…

I weigh myself every day, naked, RIGHT after I get up, after peeing. That way it's always a consistent measurement (SCIENCE! It works!) I used to weigh myself once a week, but I'd get disheartened when I gained weight. Now with weighing every day, I actually see daily changes up and down, and am less flustered by them,…

what comes to mind first is a cup of milk, it's definitely food with protein so you stay full longer. :) definitely also peanut butter or a handful of nuts. try a tbsp of nutella for a chocolate nutty treat!!
