Hello! I've been overweight my whole life and now I'm 20 years old and looking to take charge of my health. Id like to lose 75-100lbs and I'd love to have some friends on here to keep me motivated!

Hello! I'm almost 19, and 240 pounds. I'm looking to get down to about 165, and then I'll see how I look and feel about myself from there. I would love to get some friends that I can talk to, motivate, and be motivated by. Feel free to add and message me!

Hi I'm Madison! I'm almost 19, and about 240 pounds. I've always been heavy but since starting and completing my first year of college, I've become really disgusted with my weight. I know I can't reach my goal weight by this fall, but I hope to at least have made a visible difference by then! I'll add you as a friend…

Yeah, I think getting into a good exercise routine would be great for me. I used to be in a 2 hour zumba class twice a week and I actually started losing inches rather quickly. Unfortunately I can no longer take that class but I think I would see a lot of changes if I could get myself in the mindset of exercising every day.

Thanks! All of you guys seem really helpful. I do know that my meal plan next year will have more healthier foods and fewer unhealthy options because I will be living in a sorority house and we can have what the chefs make us and salad bar. Then I won't have dessert options like I did this year.

It's hard to explain, I'm not picky flavor wise for the most part, I just don't like food with weird textures. So I don't like beans or tofu, I'm willing to try most veggies and fruits. I just know a lot of the healthy recipes I look up include beans of some sort. Or quinoa, which I'm not a fan of either.

Thanks! I never thought about signing up for a race so that I don't have an excuse not to prepare for it. I think that is a great motivation idea.

My school does a color run every spring, so I'm hoping to be able to do that one! But I'm just getting started officially in my weight loss journey and I have a lot of work to do before then.

I have about 75-90 pounds to lose. I've always been heavy so I'm not sure yet what weight is going to be good for me personally. So I'm aiming for 75 pounds to lose now, but I will reevaluate when I get there.

Also, I am hoping to eventually get to the point where I can run in different 5K races. Like colors runs and stuff. A lot of my friends participate in them and I would love to join them, but I need to increase my fitness level before I can even think about it.

That's a good point. I probably should have used the salad bar a little more often. It just got boring. I never thought of getting something from another section though to add the the salad bar, like chicken. That's a great idea.

Between being on a meal plan so being limited to the foods I can eat, and trying to find time to go to the HRC, it is difficult to stay motivated. I'm hoping that this summer of going to the gym will get me into a routine. If anyone of you have any tips I'd be glad to hear them though!

Hey! I'm going to school too, and one of my most difficult things is trying to find good things to eat. Next year when I'm in a sorority house it should be easier, but since I am on a meal plan, it is hard to eat healthy!
