I vote Y, and that's because I think PF really depends on your area, but so does the YMCA. Every time I would go to PF it would be so packed in the weights area, and the cardio area would be packed too. YMCA here where I am has tons of classes that are fun, and lots of open space and equipment to use and childcare--I dont…

I know you arent looking to spend a fortune but I really love the fitbit products. I had the force--didnt get a rash, kept it and it lasted over a year, then upgraded to the HR and love it, my hubs has the regular charge and really likes it as well.

36DD/E here I like the zip fronts as well but UnderArmour makes a marvelous compression bra. VS has a zip front incredible I like and their knockout series was nice but the straps were not wide enough for me. But any three of these options and they do not move..at all

Great to know I will look into some used ones given your story walkingalong. And thanks for the input everyone. If I do buy one I will keep in mind that repairs can take a while and that maybe ill be lucky like nicwoj and have no issues at all

I feel like it is a good alternative, when I was running quite a bit I was experiencing lots of joint stiffness. I really like the one at my gym, and after being done using it I am tired but I am not stiff the next day. Does anyone who has one of these have anything good or bad to say about it?

I get a thyroid scan in a few weeks. I have been on the ndt for a little over a week now and have not noticed too much difference yet except for 2 things. When I was put on the synthroid about a year and a half ago I acquired a strange rash from my right wrist to my bicep on my inner arm, this is going away. I have logged…

Wow thank you for all the information lindsey! we don't know why I have hashi because nobody in my family had that- just regular hypo. It makes sense that my thyroid stopped working about a year and a half I guess, as the entire year beforehand I was terribly sick. I started to get a terrible rash, lose hair, hot and cold…

I ate 6 cookies my husband made today. This makes me dissapointed because in all other aspects I am trying so hard. I got all my steps and jogged this morning but this totally blew my calorie goal for today.

I am hypo and on synthroid, my doctors tell me my levels are fine now. I lost the most when I did not eat back my exercise calories (marginal amount gave me like 100-300 back) and I made sure that daily I ate like 1200-1500 cal per day If I did eat them back I would stall. I hadnt felt well because it was cold out for…

Yes. And this. Ana you put up a recipe for a lasagna that looked good. He can eat whatever he wants but I would like to find healthy things he may also enjoy. This is adventagous because I also don't want to have a crazy grocery bill every month. I talk with him all the time about the dinner issues but get wishy washy gray…

I have a feeling that this thread on the forums is just gonna keep going downhill because some people (men) must be bitter af. Ladies thank you for the constructive answers and ideas. And some healthy venting. The healthy sirracha meatloaf was a hit that I got the idea from the turkey one posted on here was a great success…

Well tonight im trying some roasted non-green veggies and a ninja healthy meatloaf. I like the bbq veggies idea and I have thrown in veggies with hb helper with success. I make a loaded broccoli chicken mac and cheese without much mac or cheese with success too. I also have loaded tacos with corn and bean salsa with…

Thanks for the helpful responses with other things to make. I do use some salt in my cooking along with garlic and a myriad of other spices. So i don't think it's bland. I will try to make more stews but after all the responses in nor going to sweat it too much if he turns everything into sandwiches or complains he isn't…

//www.fitbit.com/user/2DBCDC still cant wait for the hr version to come out. The charge update rendered my force unusable so I needed to replace it with the charge

I understand that but I liked the polar app so much better because of the user interface along with the dashboard online being so much more user friendly. Have you had experience with fixing this? I was hoping someone in the community did because polar said I could not download the previous release.

in my experience it has not, it added a great variety to my routine and I feel that if someone were to try to harm me I would have a better chance. However it does go both ways, I have had friends (male) whom have felt the urge to fight more after learning such skills.

Ok, I take mine as soon as I wake up. and then eat an hour afterwards. So, if I wake up at 530, I take it at 530 If I wake up at a different time, same routine. Now, if you are trying to lose weight and notice it is more difficult please do not get frustrated until they say your hormone levels are good.

Thanks for sharing. Seeing someone else succeed with these issues is very inspiring for me. Keep up the awesomeness :)

I second the food scale. It is an immense help. Maybe you should see your doctor again and get your levels rechecked just to be safe. If they haven't checked you out since your last dose, it might be a good idea. Whatever foods you're eating you can re-examine too. I feel better when I get over the 5 recommended veggies…

I am not a doctor, I just grill mine for all the information I can get. I have hypothyroid, I was told that my tsh needed to be under 2 to feel ok and be able to lose as close to normally as I was gonna get with this condition (long term, mom had it). They got my TSH down below 2, over 9 months, to a wonderful 1.75 and I…

Good for you for losing the weight with the thyroid. I read the whole thread and some members asked what helped you lose. I am also interested to know how you managed the condition with diet and exercise. I gained a few pounds after getting diagnosed and I have been making them go the heck away slowly but surely. With the…

I've been on the pill for years with very little issues. I'm on a monophasic one called jolessa. When I started exercising more I did have spotting but it seems to have gone away recently. You could try something like that

well, I exercise alot, and that seems to be the only thing that helps make the weight boogie monster go away because otherwise I would need to survive on very very little food. No matter the deficit the highest calories I can "get away with" is 1700 -1900 unscathed. it kinda seems like I need a 500 calorie deficit to…

The nutritionist I saw was an advocate for protein and fats for me. Along with cutting all added sugars. Lower than normal people carbs. Not necessarily low carb. I had to restructure the way I ate. I ate healthy stuff but just waay too much of a good thing. And not often enough. Currently 14 lbs down (started before mfp)…

I did and it helped me a ton.

Not at all, no changes in medications. I am on synthroid along with my birth control but thats it. I dont take any supplements either. I did drop my carbs a bit/was just more diligent with the macros from the nutritionist then I had been. But its been kind of ridiculous.

I was trying to think of a tactful way of saying spotting but failed :( It has been ridiculous as I have had an issue with this for the past 15 days or so and am on hormonal birth control. I think as long as I feel good I should keep chugging along too, I don't do anything extreme.
