I lost all my weight (50 pounds) using WW online. But - that was several years and programs ago, so probably not the same. It was useful to me as starter training wheels but if I had to lose substantial weight now I'd do simple calorie counting.
-
Why would you think that? Calories count the same, no matter what time window they are eaten in.
-
March 2000. Been doing well since then.
-
Yup. After ten days of not eating enough or not eating food that is emotionally satisfying, high likelihood of rebound immediately after.
-
Count daily. Except for holidays or vacation. Once those are over, back to counting. Nothing is off limits. I can have anything I want, just at the right time and in the right amount.

I'm just happy that scrunchies are back.

Another putting her hand up to maintaining for over 5 years; coming up on 18(?) years now? I lost weight at first by WW online, then tried to switch to "intuitive" eating, which had me put 5 pounds on (10% of the 50 I had lost). Switched to calorie counting to take the 5 off and never looked back. Now I definitely do not…

Vaseline on the face. It worked miracles for me.

I track calories and let the macros fall where they may. That's kept me maintaining my goal weight for coming up on 18 years. I know protein has been centered as very critical to hit a minimum, but right now, I'm not.
-
Do you have a medical condition that requires low sugar? If not, I don't see why you'd have to stop eating something you love.
-
I don't think about it. My habits are built up enough that I take small portions and leave space between them on my plate. I know I eat more than I would on a normal day, but it's just one day, and I don't go overboard just because I could.
-
I've been on 10 mg Lexapro for about a year now - and have been able to maintain at my goal weight with no problems.
-
I love Harney + Sons Hot Cinnamon Sunset - so spicy! I also love Twinings broadly - such good flavors.
-
Standard, non-IF eating patterns worked for my 9 months of weight loss and 17 years (so far) of maintenance. Exactly when will it fail?
-
Yup to all of this. I'm coming up on 20 years of maintaining a 50 pound loss and I actually stuck to a very restrictive plan for 10 years of that. Now I'm definitely more relaxed and have the sense of "one day/one meal/one vacation is not forever, day to day is what matters".

Just to point out - if that is all that you eat than you are undereating. Min calories for a male is 1500; the above might math to around 1300 max.
-
I've seen these, which are the Christmas variation of mini eggs.…
-
Just to point out - 500 calories of cake might not be as nutrient dense as other choices, but it doesn't mean it doesn't have any nutrients.
-
I have a hard time eating clean; cat hair gets in EVERYTHING. I just keep myself in denial as long as I don't see it.

I lost 50 pounds over 15 years ago. Have maintained that loss since, feel good, look good. Anyway, about a year ago I went to see a breast oncologist; luckily it is not because they found anything, but I have a family history that suggests closer monitoring. As part of the exam the doctor did a breast exam. As she's doing…

I love carrot cake but it makes me think of cream cheese frosting, which reminds me of the time I was on vacation in Vegas and started the day with red velvet pancakes with cream cheese topping, and ended it with a slice of red velvet cake. Good times.

Yes - the pictures above make me want to visit. Haven't been to a Whole Foods in years. But just to be fair you can buy fruit/vegetables/other foods with lower caloric density - just at very high prices.
-
Just to point out - it is highly unlikely you were eating 1000-1200 before you started keto. Where do you get those #s? You would be losing weight on that unless you are very short and/or VERY inactive.
-
I see some cruelty in the posts here - specifically to how some of the people are referred to. I think all of us here were in their shoes before and it is good that now we are not.

Well damn. *cancels plane ticket*

Finished my run and had a 20 ounce Pepsi.

Just to point out, there has been analysis that finds in a lot of spaces the "gamification" of these kinds of rewards does lead to higher user engagement #s. You can find examples in this very thread.
