yes and the scale too. Since may or so. Works well for me because my main exercise is walking and a bit of stairs and light jogging.

I've been reading and listening to some podcasts about and have been interested. Early man certainly had access to grains/seeds and they were part of their diet even before they were cultivated. ie wild rice. so I don't buy the entire premise. Although I agree with them that cultivation and human selection has radically…

I'm going to experiment here, the market is starting to have them local from this season. I've mostly been nuking them and put a little coconut spread on and eating them that way. Saw a couple sweet potato salad recipes that looked good. Haven't done the mashed in a while. After being pretty much vegetarian last…

I was a little concerned when I had to buy all new clothes if my new tight Levi 501s were 'age appropriate' - I got over it!

we are here! 51 in a couple weeks...

We've looked into going from time to time.... I'm kind of worried that all there is to do is eat and drink ? also I'm kind of cheap and don't want to spend the money.... but we really should, maybe for our 30th? I use to see an ad for a Clipper ship cruise, that looked more interesting to me.

Have an HTC Desire and liked it. Pre-ordered a Galaxy 3 from US Cellular, can't wait to get it !

My partner and I have a 10 year age difference, but he is the younger at heart. Until recently, I'd have said he was in better shape. A lot of things caught up with me about 46 or so and my health deteriorated pretty severely until I was able to start turning things around last year. You got to read the signs and take care…

Strong Garlic flavor, hot/peppery. I could even taste it this morning when I got up. Probably a good thing I didn't work today....

The scapes are the flower/stem of the garlic plant. I rarely do anything with them besides a little salad topping. I was inspired this year. I've made a batch of hummus with them. Then the rest I made pesto, most of which I'll freeze and a bit to top our home made pizza tonight. ( spinach/feta/pesto and diced tomatoes on…

Yes, most except for squid/octopi - too chewy/no flavor. Picked up a dragon roll from the local co-op for lunch! Love freaking out my co-workers....

Walking has been my primary exercise the last few years. I walk 40-60 minutes 4x during the work week and once or twice for a good hour or more on the weekends. I have had a big increase in what I can do how fast and how far. I'd say it is best place to start - It depends on where you are at and what you can do. I've had…

I've been reading about this and wondering about it too. would like to hear how it is going for people.

I wish I'd have documented the start of my 'process' better. Waist, chest other measurements would have been interesting to go along with the starting weight. The most telling i have is a 42 inch pair of jeans and a 3XLT shirt (I kept one of each as a reminder, otherwise they are all gone now).

ha! All pink and clean after I shower....

How did you get the pictures to post? I tried to paste a picture of my garden into this window and nothing happened.

I got a red curry tofu recipe from the co-op. I need to convert it as it starts out with 10 pounds of tofu... but may not be as healthy as I had hoped. it calls for something called Veganaise, which sounds a lot like mayonnaise, so 'll need to check it out.

Nice pictures, the Poppies are beautiful. I've had mixed results with them there, I had a couple nice big plants for a few years and now last year they didn't come back after the winter. I haven't taken many pictures yet this spring,

with salt, pepper, and a couple scoops of cottage cheese... never use to eat them much until this last winter and I've just gone nuts for them....

I've got apples, but it's been tough to keep them from getting too buggy to eat. I'd have to spray a lot more than I'm comfortable. The pears are better. I want to expand my raspberry patch. Squirrels can be a big problem. My partner feeds the squirrels, they bury the corn all over and it starts growing in the yard and…

yea, I crave Peanut butter too. Although I do notice that I crave it more when I'm behind on my protein. Wanted to try this powdered stuff, but it is pretty expensive.

my 2 cents. the first thing is to just start walking and some basic flexibility and strength exercises - nothing fancy. if you have a PT, they can suggest what's appropriate. just get in the habit of doing it every day. just start moving and as you build up some endurance you can add on. I have a long history of back and…

I've just had the sushi eel, not prepared any other way. Its pretty rich, so I would have trouble eating a lot of it. If I don't get the pieces, also like the Dragon roll. I like Salmon and I'll just go crazy for the smoked salmon/whitefish we can get from lake Michigan or Superior.

I'am slowly working on increasing both activity and calories.(I have also have/had some other back/pain issues including hip surgery). I'd like to lose another 20, but I think getting my activity/energy/strength is back is more important right now. It's going to take a while...

the eel has become my favorite....

I went out to his website and it's one of those were everything looks like advertising. Don't see anything really about his program. Maybe there is something in there.

I don't know him from Paris either. I think he is a gay gossip columnist? have have seen is name come up from time to time. yea, was wondering if he had some work to pull in the loose skin.
