@ Joe - that's awesome! Keep up the good work!

Don't worry, a lot of that 3 lbs is probably just water weight. Just focus on following your eating/exercise plans one day at a time, and I get you'll have a great weigh-in next week!
-
@ Dave - you can do it! You've already made a lot of progress since getting back from your trip.

Week 0: 136.8 () -- starting weight Week 1: 133.8 (-3.0 lbs) Week 2: 136.4 (+2.6 lbs) -- sick Week 3: 133.2 (-2.8 lbs) Week 4: 130.8 (-2.4 lbs) Week 5: 129.4 (-1.4 lbs) Another good week -- I lost 1.4 lbs! I can't believe that I've lost 7.4 lbs and have already exceeded my goal of losing 7 lbs, with 2 more weeks to go!…

@ Mandy - thanks! And congrats on a great loss this week! It looks like water weight fluctuations were indeed masking your weight loss the previous week. I'm sure you can make your goal! Keep up the good work!
-
@ Maria - you can do it! I'm rooting for you!
-
@ Kelly - that's awesome! Losing 2.5 lbs while traveling for 2 weeks is no small accomplishment!

Thanks Kelly!

@ Wimberly - that's fantastic! All of your hard work paid off!

Sounds like you're all set! Go for it! :drinker:

@ samwelli - congratulations! That's awesome! Losing 6.5 lbs in 4 weeks is fantastic -- you're only 4 lbs away from reaching your goal and there are still 3 weeks left. You have a great chance of exceeding your goal! Keep up the great work!

Week 0: 136.8 () -- starting weight Week 1: 133.8 (-3.0 lb) Week 2: 136.4 (+2.6 lb) -- sick Week 3: 133.2 (-2.8 lb) Week 4: 130.8 (-2.4 lb) Lost 2.4 lbs last week and I'm really happy! Ever since I started exercising again 9 days ago (after recovering from being sick), I've tried to get more exercise during the day…

-
@ Mandy - another great challenge! I just finished my 2nd set of three -- its really good exercise!
-
@ Joe - good job!
-
@ Jay - that's fantastic! Glad you're feeling better too.
-
@ Mandy - thanks! It was a lot better than I expected!
-
@ Maria - considering how busy you were with work, not gaining is great!
-
@ Mandy - don't be discouraged -- you were following your exercise/eating plans, so in all likelihood higher weight is probably all due to water retention. More sodium than usual can cause that, and sometimes the body just has random fluctuations for no apparent reason. I bet all of that water will be gone soon and you'll…

Its OK, there are going to be times like that. The important thing is that you're eating well and exercising regularly! But if you want some ideas on breaking out of plateaus, check out this article: http://www.burnthefatblog.com/archives/2011/01/unexplainable-fat-loss-plateaus-explained.php That article might give you…

Fantastic job this week! All of that running really paid off! And it sounds like you're doing a great job of increasing your speed and fitness. :drinker: Business trips are tough. Eating out all of the time is really challenging...as is finding time to exercise. But I'm sure you can do it! Hope everything goes smoothly on…

Week 0: 136.8 (starting weight) Week 1: 133.8 Week 2: 136.4 (sick) Week 3: 133.2 I was really pleased to find that I was down 3.2 lbs since last week! I didn't think I'd lose much weight this week since I didn't start exercising again until Tues. of this week, when I finally had some energy again (after not exercising for…
-
@Joe - holy cow! That's a HUGE amount of weight! Great job!
-
@ Mandy - I'm back to normal now, thanks for asking! I didn't start exercising again until Tues. of this week, so I don't think I made much progress on the weight loss front this week -- we'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning!
-
@ Jay - I know exactly how you feel -- my throat was really bad last Sunday and has been painful throughout the past week, and its still recovering. If you haven't already, try taking some maximum strength sore throat lozenges. I found those to be really helpful. Anyway, I hope the doctor can give you some pain killers,…

@ Jay -- yay!
-
@ Joe -- great job!
-
@ Kelly -- fantastic job! Especially with all that catered food this week. It looks like you've busted out of that plateau! And its great that you managed to keep up with your exercise despite all those meetings. Eating healthy and staying under calories is very challenging when you have to eat out a lot, but it…
-
@ Maria -- fantastic job on still managing to lose with all that going on! Keep up the good work!
-
@ Mandy -- that's the spirit! I'll be cheering for you. :drinker: I've been overeating this past week too, so it looks like we've been in the same boat. I still don't have much energy right now, but hopefully I'm in better shape tomorrow. I haven't exercised at all this past week so I need to get back into it as soon as I…
