You must everyday. No excuses. Small fluctuations are normal day to day but then after a while you'll see weekly how much you lose / gain per week average and then adjust calories according to your goals. So simple. Dont let emotions get you. Just keep going. Let's gooooo.

Go to tdeecalculator.net Type in the numbers. You'll receive your maintenance calories . Eat slightly below that each day for a week . -10% is good starting point If not lost weight after the week then reduce the calories a bit more.

Carbs are the bomb. As others have said. It's all about the calories in and calories out. Hit that golden 120-180g protein per day. And for the rest do what you want. I'd recommend 1 serving of a nut per day as well. Take a look at my dairy I just came back to MFP recently I'm on 2200 cal per day and losing quickly on 200+…

oh man thats guna be the end of me. just trying to inform people who trying to lose weight NOT to eat junk foods. Simple as that.
-
once your fat your always going have that fat cell, and when you eat that ice cream it will fill up faster than than someone who has had less fat accumulation. Have you notice how much faster you gain weight after losing it
-
Sure doesnt help gain muscle or lessen the chance of heart Problems. so it could have
-
You definitely didnt help your body
-
The way some people are sensitive to my opinions sure does feel like I do
-
Encouraging someone to eat more sugary foods ? I just do not understand you MFP people
-
You'll all get fatter eventually and 1 of every 2 of us will have heart problems due to our poor diets. so make fun now while you can
-
yeah trolling for sure! good luck gaining muscle with ice cream ha. you the troll
-
coo imma eat crunch berries all day , time to get RIPPPED SON
-
Those results are not necessarily good results. more likely I would increase my blood pressure and increase my chance of heart problems like most americans will
-
Im not twisting any words, a calorie is a calorie correct? so i eat 250 calories less than my maintenance ill lose fat no matter what i eat? now im confused what you original statement was.
-
I'd go about 250 calories a day higher than maintenance with 6-12 rep range workouts. This way you"ll gain .5 lbs every weeks of mostly muscle. make sure its good carbs because you wont grow with crap ice cream carbs
-
Its cool just keep suggesting that people who are overweight can eat whatever they want and they'll get results as long they eat under maintenance calories.
-
okay now im done with you. meal timing means nothing .haha wow. dont get protein after your workout or what?
-
Yes true but I get the vibe on this website that people just want to eat whatever they want and as long as they stay under maintenance calories they will look good and lose fat. Not true.

[/quote] Don't you find it even a little bit thought-provoking that you're in such a strong minority with this belief that you can actually increase mass while in a calorie deficit (or decrease mass while in a calorie surplus)? Just a little bit? No? I wish the NASM had a Board to which I could report your posts to have…

Because there is a lot more factors than just calories.
-
A guy should never go below 1800 of good non empty calories at least.
-
Sixth post on first page.
-
Thats nice and everything but OP said he was at 1200 calories and he wanted to hit 1750. Thats 550 calories missing, If he replaced that with ice cream or other junk every day it will be less effective than nutrient rich foods. Not empty calories.
-
Does not mean your any more healthier.
-
Totally a great job !! Eat for energy, not for comfort or what taste good.
-
What crap did I make up ? I simply stated a fact, there is better ways to get calories than ice cream, or any other sugar processed stuff.
-
Just trying to help this guy out, no reason to get upset.
-
Sugar is the cause of the pandemic going on in the world, obesity. Do not encourage people to eat more of it than they need to.
-
Im sorry man but calories are not equal. Theres much better ways to get his calories than sugar processed junk. Get your micros from real food.
