I stated March 21st - I’m 49 - on the to go plan - I want to lose 40 pounds - I’ve lost 20 so far. I’d probably be farther ahead in my weight loss if I didn’t cheat so much on the weekends. I don’t go crazy but I enjoy one normal unrestricted meal a week. It keeps me functional and I get right back in line the next day.…

Same here for the most part - but unfortunately, I just keep yo-yo'ing down to the last 10 then, I go up 5, then back down - almost like a switch. So frustrating - I think I am going to switch up my exercise routine to something like kickboxing that way I can punch stuff, lol.

Congrats on your amazing transformation. Well done, keep strong, keep up the good fight - Thank you for the inspiration!

Envious of your biceps

I need an added push to get back into shape, may I join please?

Awesome, such a dying trade - My Dad taught me...but only after I burnt a hole in the bathroom sink as a teen welding a bunch of copper together...oops! LOL @finny11122 will chew on our coffees, USMC can tag along - and Laz can sweet talk on all those chems in the latte
-
It's rare to find us lovelies who can weld, run electric and replace pipe - we have much in common my fiery red-headed wonder girl
-
Sounds like a good time to take a break, gab away while sipping on - oh, glorious coffee
-
I just bought it - I tried to do it with my 9 year old but he got frustrated - and hence me since he was having such a fit. I need to start it next week when he's a camp.
-
Starting another round - want to lose another 10; making me smaller than I was in my 20s!

hahhaa - love it!

I rotate eating both -- either go 93/7 turkey or grass-fed beef (which isn't too much different than grain fed, except it taste better in my opinion and I know which cow it came from...since the farm is down the road (and sometimes it's a little sad when it's one you knew))

I had the same issue with my spouse. He would interrupt my workouts, demand dinner, eat & bring all sorts of unhealthy things into the house. I eventually (10 years!) built up the will power to ignore him, eat for me (and my son) and you know what - I've held firm, lost over 75 pounds (10 before mfp) in the past year & .5…

Thanking him for his service

Good Luck - I'm confident you can do it...probably just drinking tons of water and peeing like crazy should get you there alone, all the right stuff you mention above will add to your success. ;)

1500-1700 is much more sustainable from 4k, you don't want to put your body/metabolism in starvation mode. I saw earlier you love ranch - my hubby is a BIG mayo lover - I slimmed down his mayo since January with 1/2 plain greek yogurt & mayo - he hasn't noticed the difference...except he's now 50 pounds lighter. Maybe try…

Today is Day 3; Round 4. Started on fix at 200, weigh 171 as of this morning. I should have lost more on Round 3 - BUT I didn't workout everyday as I was suppose to...my bad.
