I say weigh yourself and gain some information about how your body works, if you can do it without feeling too anxious. If you can figure out when your body has natural fluctuations, it can be annoying but comforting. In the future if you know it's not something you did to cause it, that can keep you from becoming…

I'm logging everything. Ive gotten off track in the past, and it helps to be able to look back at what I was eating when I was doing well losing weight.

My husband does a program with high blood pressure through omada. The program is through our insurance company. They want to encourage people to live a healthier lifestyle because it saves them money in the long run from having to pay for obesity related diseases. They're probably just encouraging your Dr to try to get…

I'm not aware of being able to do that, but some people will go back to a day in the past and add them all to one day before you were logging. Then they will show up in your food list.

It sure seems like the percentages should be reversed when I have to pee 20 times a day right before a whoosh!

I quit smoking about three years ago. I've been where you are. It sucks, but not as much as not being able to breathe. Please make sure you are getting enough vitamin D. Because I wasn't going outside to smoke anymore, I had a severe vitamin D deficiency. It didn't matter what I ate, I was never satiated and that was…

I don't mean to alarm you, but excessive itching can be a sign of liver problems. Although, years ago I had an itchy red spot that covered almost my whole calf. As soon as I stopped using liquid fabric softener, it went away. I had always used that fabric softener, so it wasn't new. I also have no idea why it was only one…

I think it's great that you're getting in so much protein, and I know it's supposed to keep you satiated for longer but that doesn't work for me at all. It doesn't matter which meal it is, if I don't have some carbs I'll be starving in an hour. Maybe experiment a little more with macros and see if you need more fats or…

I bought a Serta Icomforf last year. I got the medium, but it also comes in firm and plush. It's the only mattress we've been happy with for this long. We live in the Dallas area, so we got ours at Nebraska Furniture Mart. They will ship too, and the frequently offer that if you buy a mattress you can get a free adjustable…

That's awesome! What a great Dr you have! He cares enough to give you the tough love, but wants you to be careful not to over do it and find a place with your weight that makes you happy. I'm sure that really made his day because he doesn't have enough patients listen to him.

I absolutely can not wait to find out what your Dr says! Please let us know!

I feel like I've been with you through most of your loss, my friend. I know I don't always write in your feed, but I DO pay attention. Your dedication has been such an inspiration to so many. I'm so happy for you that you feel so great now, you deserve all the good things!

A lot of people I know that are celiac eat corn tortillas. I live in Texas, so we eat a lot of Mexican food here anyway, so it's a natural thing to substitute.

They have those veggie straws in different flavors now! Sour cream and onion are sooo good!

One of my favorite subs is a low carb tortilla I've found. La Banderita is the brand. I save so many calories with my soft tacos that I get to have extra guacamole!

This was happening to me after I quit smoking last year. Really, an hour after eating a good sized meal I'd be hungry again and snacking. My husband, who usually never says a word about what I eat asked me how I could be eating again. I realized that when I smoked, I'd always go outside. I never did after I quit. As a…

I've gotten so much better at snapping right back into it the past year. I'm think I just told myself I had to. Especially after vacation.

When I can get to my news feed and it says view diary after one of my friends closes out, if I click that it takes me to my own diary. This site is so messed up. They should have left it alone.

Sent you a friend request! I also only have fur babies.

Same problem here. Hope they fix it soon. It's a pain having to constantly log in. I'm here several times a day.

I find when I eat carbs for lunch at work it makes me tired too. Try protein and healthy fats instead and add a little at a time. Nuts, cheese, meat, avocado. All those things are fairly high calorie and could be good for your breaks without making you tired.

I've never had a workout partner at all, but I do the competition against myself thing. In my case, I don't think it's good. I used to think if I didn't feel good enough to work out at least as hard and as long as I did the last time that I wasn't doing good. So, if I didn't feel really good I would skip working out all…

Awww, it can be disheartening when you lose and then it comes right back. That tends to be my pattern. I'll lose a good amount and then for seemingly no reason it comes right back and takes a week or 2 to get back there or see a new low. Know what? It's still progress, though. I feel for ppl who have back problems. I…

I have been doing this a while, but things with my body have been different for about a year. I quit smoking at the end of 2020. Since then, the way MFP works for me isn't the same. I haven't been able to lose as easily as before, so I feel like I'm starting from scratch. At first, as expected, I craved sweets. Things I…

This is still a problem. This bug is discouraging new people at a time during the year that so many people need feedback. The community feature is one of the best things about this website and with all the changes, they've ruined it.

Ok thanks! Don't know how I got the other way in my head. Glad to have the confirmation.

Hey there, it's been a while since you posted this! This is the first time I've checked in in a bit. You sound much the same as me. I prep most food and eat out very little, but have had a hard time maintaining a loss. Mostly because of my vacations. I'll lose 5 and go on vacation and gain it back. I do feel pretty good…

Because it takes more calories to operate a larger body, you'll still be in a deficit with that amount. As your body get smaller, you'll have to adjust MFP to your new weight. It doesn't do it automatically. Most people do this every 10 or 20 pounds. I can't exactly remember how to adjust it, but people talk about it here…
