SWEET! So glad you still have the membership. Nice job on the 2 miles! Keep that up and you will shed those lbs in no time. Did you see if the guy was going running again? Motivation... Glad your dad found his motivation too. Now you have even more support at home. :drinker: I'm proud of your loss. Keep up the good…

I'm having the same trouble too. There has been more than one occasion when I have been teaching and in all my expressive flailing about, I've flung one in a students face! I have two rings with writing on them so they can't be resized. The ring guard sounds like a good option. I'll have to look into them.

Love the compliments! I agree, it feels great to have other people notice. I have a similar relationship wtih my SIL. We are getting closer to the same size now that I have lost weight. Keep it up and she will really "hate" you.  Nice work on the 5lbs :flowerforyou:

I have one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Reebok-Precision-Trainer-XT-Monitor/dp/B0012RMZ6C I love it and got a great deal from Amazon. $29 I think. Keep your eye out at amazon as they run deals on HRMs regularly.

Obscene! :noway: eta: Looks like they don't let their waitresses (uhh...."nurses") eat the food. Maybe my end goal should be one of their "uniforms"

Hehehe I'm pathetic with ya then. I went shopping for a dress for my BIL's wedding last week and actually had a good time trying clothes on! Haven't had that in several years.

 I love that you asked this. I often wonder when I step on the scale if I would reach my goal if I would just cut off all my hair. *lol* I don't think it weighs all that much. Congrats on the loss!:drinker:

I just bought my first pair of ASICS as well. Check out their web site if you don't like the fit. They make different foot beds to accommodate different arches and pronate patterns. From trying on different styles, I could tell a big difference and can imagine the wrong shoe would be miserable.

I can't speak for the p90x but I know it's pretty pricey. Have you looked into Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred? It's about $14 at Target and is a great workout. You only need light weights (that you can make out of reused milk jugs filled with sand or water if you can't pull the $$ together for them) and about 25 minutes…

It's a nice starting point for getting moving. pros/cons ~If you do the tapes (my hubby does) Tony will get you moving, but I find him too irritating. ~It is a good replacement for walking if your joints have any issues... ~If you have balance issues...skip it. My mom can't handle it as it makes her dizzy, but my three…

Rock on for being 10+ down in 5 weeks. Nice job :drinker: I would up the cals a bit. maybe 1300 and eat at least part of your workout cals. Throw in protein and a glass of milk (if you don't already). That kicked things into gear for me. Good Luck!

That makes sense to me. Thanks for sharing. :flowerforyou:
