I weigh in daily, but only log loss as well. Weighing in daily shows me how much my weight fluctuates. Also if I'm up several days I can be more strictly adherent to my diet, it sort of motivates me.

I do the same thing. I do much better during the week when I'm busy vs when I'm home on the weekend. One key is to only have healthy snacking options. I agree. I actually work at a hospital and I avoid the cafeteria for that reason. I try to bring food or eat soup/salad, otherwise I go over my calories. You are right the food options are not healthy

I agree lean protein is helpful. Like turkey, baked/grilled chicken breast without the skin. For snacks I like sugar free pudding. Almonds have good fat and protein. Then I would say distract yourself from eating. For me, I try to limit my eating to meals otherwise I snack too much and go over my calories.

I don't think ppl would laugh at you. If you are too embarrassed consider an exercise dvd or a 6-8in step and do step aerobics to music at home. That is something I do when the weather is bad or if I don't feel like making the drive to the gym. Just commit to movement.

Bathe your dog, it won't hurt her. Also you may get blood on the towel, but you can just wash it and designate that towel as her period towel. Also try using a doggy diaper with panty liners. Hope this helps

Don't let that discourage you. Just keep sticking to you calorie limit and try to eat as much quality foods as possible. Your weight will do that at times, but it's temporary. I think you should talk to your doctor. A lot of these are good options, but everyone is different and you may have certain conditions or risk factors for certain conditions that they may not be good options for you. You doctor should be able to help

Katiep97- I say if soda is your weakness don't go there. If you are doing well it's easier to stick with it in my opinion.

I think focusing on the diet is good advice. For several months I focused on working out only and didn't really lose any pounds. I lost inches/felt better, but to really lose weight I think the diet deserves the most attention.
