I have used the wii fit and have seen positive results. The key is to use it. Since it is at home, there is no reason not to use. I have tried the personal trainer, golds cardio, and jillians fitness. They all have pros and cons. Find one that you like and use it. I use gamefly as a way to rent games before buying them.

If you have access to a pool, use it. My kids love the water. Just walking in the water will wear you out. I have seen peolpe put on float belts and "run" in the deep end of the pool. The only reason I still have a YMCA membership is for the pool.

The outdoor challenge has what are called active points and it tracks these points for each person. Try the exercise part of the game. The 5-minute high intensity will really work you.
