  • I have lost 10lbs (about 1 lbs/week) on 1200 cal diet. Some days i am over, some days i am under but it averages out and weekly I am never over. I don't starve, am rarely hungry and allow myself to have treats about once a week. I'd say it is going fine :)
  • I also like eggs but thought it cant be good re: chloresterol etc. and how too many could impact my MFP numbers. I can't imagine eating the number of eggs that people have mentioned here! Maybe a couple on the weekend and one, Maybe two, during the week. What are you making/ eating with that many eggs!?
  • I've swapped juice for flavoured 0 cal water - PC Free & Clear. So good even my hubby drinks it. Only issue I have is are there added chemicals? Or enough to worry about?
  • Poutine = fries with cheese curds and gravy
  • Day 72 and down 10 pounds.looks like you are all correct - approximately a pound a week. Slow and steady...
  • 5 lbs lost 39 days 1200 give or take (more on exercise days) 2 - 3 days/week ~250 for elliptical, bike or treadmill
  • You make turkey sausage? Is this difficult?
  • Deli smoked chicken breast 3 slices, tomato, lettuce, slice of marble cheese, on toasted light rye bread. Side - 3 garlic dill pickles 50% less salt
  • Simple but tasty - flaked canned tuna and chopped celery sandwich. Add and melt cheese for a few extra calories and a lot if extra yumminess :). Add your choice for a side.
  • Turns out lowcarbcanada has stores in Ontario - yay! Going to pick up a jar PB2 chocolate to try in smoothies.
  • may be the way to go as it is Canadaian, in Canadian dollars and you dont have to worry about shipping across the border
  • I just checked this out and its about $8 for shipping to canada for jar of PB2, $4 if not express. If the promo code works then you'd at least save the shipping cost. Site says $5 off your first order under $40, $10 off for $40 or more ordered.
  • pizza puts me over. It's the darned cheese (yum!). I'd prob be ok if I just ate a slice less on that day. But it doesnt happen all that often so no biggie in my opinion. (poker night snacks put me over too. I try to be good but its so hard with everyone munching about)
  • I've been doing 1200 cal. Some days under not on purpose, just wasn't hungry. I have had a few over by maybe 100 but not many. I generally don't feel starved or hungry. Im not going to pretend I know much about nutrition andweight loss, only that 1200 cal isn't necessarily a bad thing. Fyi I'm 5ft 5
  • Yes, I gained quite a bit of weight the past year and a half and now I would like to be down to 135-140lbs. I don't feel the 1200 cal too restricting most days, only when out with friends weekend snacking. I use the heart rate monitors at the gym when using machines and guesstimate lower than posted in MFP for other…
  • What about PB2 in Canada? Anyone figure that out? Id hate to pay shipping if that was my only option, I wouldn't buy as it would increase price too much.
  • I don't follow anything specific. A banana, plain/vanilla yogurt, frozen fruit, small amount of juice. Mix it in magic bullet. Just change up the fruit (mixed berries, blueberry, mixed tropical - pineapple, mango etc., and/or yogurt.)

  • I've been counting calories for a month staying within the 1200cal goal set by MFP. I've gone over maybe 3 days in total and by very little. I do cardio 2-3 times a week. I was excited I had lost 2lbs at first as it said I should but have not lost since, I often eat back the cals i've burned at the gym. Very disappointed.…
