I've been understanding that the minimum number of calories your body needs a day to sustain healthy living and keep you metabolism up is 1200. That's what my husband and I aim for every day. Technically, we're "allowed" more than that, but we lose weight faster if we stay right at or slightly over 1200.

I like to take about a quarter of a cup of ricotta, one packet of Splenda and a tiny amount of vanilla extract. Mix them together well and enjoy :)
