If it's something you made yourself, grab a food scale and measure out all the ingredients and make a recipe on MFP for it. It's a little more time-consuming but worth it in the long run.

I love it for at home workouts! I did HIIT Like a Girl today and it was intense (definitely not just for women, btw). I absolutely loved it.

Also in for this answer.

Being realistic in my goals and consistency.

Before at 220lbs Now at 160lbs

I will not read the comments sections on articles I will watch more Netflix.

That's what I always like reading! It will be slower to do it the good ol' fashioned way, but it's much less dangerous and much more sustainable.

There was one time that I ate nothing but eggs for three days. I'm pretty sure my egg farts are the reason my upstairs neighbor moved away  When I was a teenager, I stole my mom's Hydroxicut pills which was not only a silly thing to lose weight, it was also dangerous. My mom caught be (this was after she stopped…

^^^completely agree! It may be cliche but slow and steady definitely wins the race. Check out this thread it should be of some help to you: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1

It can track your workout, just click on the "exercise" tab or if you're solely on the app, press the "+" button and it will give you options for adding a workout. Also, I would suggest (from personal experience) not to just follow MFP's calorie burns as they tend to be too high. If you have the means, a heart rate monitor…

Depending on how much time you have, you might try some videos from Fitness Blender. You can customize how long you want to work out and what equipment can be used to suit your needs. I would warn you not to just follow their calorie burns on there (or MFP's for that matter) but, if you can, purchase a heart rate monitor…

I'm not doing it currently, but I have done it in the past. There are several groups on MFP for support through 30DS and other Jillian Michaels programs! Just hit the "groups" link and search for her name and it should pop up for you!

Mmm, and coke zero!

No need to be scared! Just know that if you do fall off, there is always a chance to get back at it. You won't fail 100% unless you just stop trying. Keep that in mind if you don't do your best one day (or week), it happens to all of us and you just have to pick yourself back up and get back on! Best of luck to all of you!

You say that like it's a bad thing :D

^^^ I support her even if she is a Gryffindor  (for real though, she's cool!)

My eyes and I generally get told that I'm cute which I'm not too fond of

I think those are all incredible successes! You should be proud of the progress you've made.

For those of you who like looking at before/after pictures, you should check out this site: http://www.realbodiesrealresults.com/blog I don't own the site nor have I posted on it but I look through it like a little creeper whenever I'm feeling particularly low.

As the first poster said, if it's a terrible day (like lost my job, cat died, homework past deadline kinda day) I'll eat whatever I want and start new the next day. But if I've just lost some motivation and I'm not actually having a bad day, I'll think about how I feel after I workout, I'll look at cute clothes online that…

I think it will really depend on your mentality. I used to weigh weekly because seeing the little ups and downs was too much for me to do it daily. Then I started to weigh daily, while keeping in mind that my weight will fluctuate, so I could keep better track of how different foods and exercises effect my weight. So…

I have small breasts with huge hips and thighs, so I call myself "raptor shaped." I don't care if other people think I'm attractive because I know Chris Pratt would think I'm a clever girl and that's all that matters.

I'm working as a group fitness instructor in mid-January, so I'll be doing that class plus a few other classes. I want to add back in weight training (after taking some time off) just on my own. One of the classes I'm most excited to do is Stand-up Paddle Board Yoga.

I usually run 2-3 times a week and do indoor cycling 2 times, yoga once a week (just for funsies) and weight training 2-3 times a week. I've found that indoor cycling and weight training have really boosted by endurance while running, so I try to keep those constant with my routine.

I have recurring depression (so it's away for a little while and then hits me like a freight train) and it's difficult to stay under calories when I'm severely depressed. But, like @ttaylor2658 said, I use exercise to make myself feel better, even if that's just a walk around the block. My best advice is to be kind to…

Hello! I've been here for a while and have successfully lost 60lbs myself, so I know for sure you can do it! Here is a thread that I think you could find helpful as it helped me a lot: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1 Best of luck!

http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1 This is one of my favorite threads for getting started! In addition to the first poster, who really hit the nail on the head in terms of eating habits, I would suggesting finding an exercise you like to do and…

Losing a pound is definitely nothing to snub! I average about a pound per week, and you wouldn't believe how it starts to add up! Keep going and exercise when you feel it's right for you.

I really want to do a pull-up (of any sort), so if you have any tips please let me know! I'd love to get some input on how to get started on the process! And my current mini-goal is to get back down to 160 lbs before my semester starts. I'm 162.8 right now and I have until January 14 to meet my goal. And then after that, I…

Having a sense of what you've been doing is an excellent place to start. I would suggest moving forward with moderation, both in what you eat and how you workout. You don't want to do too much in the beginning and burn yourself out. What has worked for me is eating what I want within my calorie allotment and trying to hit…
