Ok, so I've just done a check of an example week of my calories consumed and I average 1500 calories consumed. I'm 5foot 8 and 138lbs. What I mean is that if you don't lose any weight then it doesn't matter how much toned muscle you have it won't show under the layer of fat.

My point is that I eat healthily and haven't changed my diet. However, I am burning 750 calories a day with running so surely I would lose weight. I have quite a warped view of my body or so I'm told. Maybe I'm just looking for compliments, but does my height, weight, fat % and BMI suggest that I look slim already?

So basically to see any good results of exercise i.e slimmer thighs, flatter tummy, nipped in waist, longer, leaner looking limbs, you have to actually strip off the fat too? Isn't it possible to just do lots of exercise, eat healthily and look better and fitter for it?

Thank you So are you saying that you don't put on muscle from running or cycling, but only from weight lifting? Does running and cycling tone you up at least? It has taken 1 month to go on. I measure using body fat scales, it has taken me 3 months to lose that body fat Thank you x

Is there a way of finding out the maximum calories I could consume and still lose weight?
