Hello :) I am Lucy I am Apparently I have always had tummy issues as a baby my mum said she was advised to give me soya milk. My issues flare up violently and I am pleased to find this group for help as at the minute I feel I am going mad! Mr drs have no ideas any more. I was properly diagnosed at 22 after investigations…

I downloaded the Monash Uni app for a few pounds for info on the go as they designed fodmap .. but it contradicts other sources of fodmap lists on the web and today I am in pain!

My weight loss seems to slow down when I exercise but my shape changes dramatically (whilst still counting). I am sure this has to do with changing body composition but as I am quite numbers driven it is frustrating. Interesting theory though.

I would do as pp says and save some cals for an evening snack. Once I have hit my limit I go brush my teeth. I usually don't want to eat after that.

Hi there, I was on Sertraline for a while and actually the opposite happened with me! I found I had very little appetite and unfortunately I had a really upset stomach (literally every time I ate). I lost 10lbs in two weeks and was taken off it. Weird as I had been fine with other ssri's. Anyway, just to say whilst weight…

Hi, I am sorry to read of your trauma. A few years ago I came off Yasmin at a perfectly healthy weight and didn't have a natural period for 18 months. It did come back. I was just advised to take a B vitamin supplement and it was because I had been on the pill for 8 years I was 24 at the time. If you are worried you can…

I started NROL4W today. The day 1 programme was OK. If you add me I am doing a blog (visible only to friends) which shows the exercises I did and weights, sets and reps I managed. I would suggest buying the book, give yourself a few days to get to grips with it (there was a bit of jargon to get my head around) and you will…

Sorry but as PP has said, this is incorrect. Antidepressants, and anti psychotics, some, can directly affect the way your body metabolises food. To the OP. It is hard, I have recently come off Olanzapine which contributed to a gain of 30lbs (and put me at risk of metabolic syndrome) and I am hoping it will be easier to…

If you have spoken to a doctor that would have been my first suggestion. Good for you that you recognised you have a problem and are trying to get help. It's not easy. I am afraid I don't really have more advice other than speak to a professional and follow the advice they give you. I wanted to wish you well on your…

My weight affects me. I lost 28lbs then got stuck back on meds that helped me gain it all back. At my lightest I could run 40 minutes, at the minute I can manage 10 - 20

I think you answered your own question, booze and takeouts are massive calorie culprits. If you must drink gin and slimline tonic, pretty much all single spirits with low calorie mixer are the lowest you can get cals wise. Make a healthy snack for you when you get home before you go out, then you can give the takeaway the…

I'm pleased others have given you good advice. A plan is just that, a plan and if you need to repeat a week or two that is absolutely fine. Breathing is something I found difficult. Oddly I can regulate inside but not outside! Let me know please if you find anything that works. I will add you if that is ok :) happy…
