Feeling guilty : (

Went out for my partners 30th birthday last night, and went way over my calorie allowance. I tried to order what I thought was the healthiest on the menu, so ordered crab salad starter, cod with veg main, and shared chocolate fondant dessert. Also, had wine and a cocktail. I feel so guilty. Guess I will have to work extra hard at the gym this evening.

Dont sweat it, no need to go brutal on yourself the next day to make up for it. There have been 3 or 4 times that I can remember the last few months that I ended up going over calories by more than 1500 and I still managed to have a loss. One day will not ruin your progress .:-)0

90% of the weight gained on such occasions will be water, a perfectly normal response when dieting. It will go away by itself within 2 days or so, don't worry about it - actually cheat meals signalize your body "hey, I think we're not gonna starve after all" and further help you lose weight...
Feeling guilty or not, working extra hard at the gym might be a good idea anyway ;-)0 -
Don't feel too guilty about it, it was a birthday dinner! You were right to enjoy it! As long as you get back on track, you will have forgotten about it in no time, and continue to see progress!0
