Oh boy. I'm going to be 45 this year and is it harder to lose weight at this age than 20 years ago. lol. You're not alone. There are many of us here. I'm happy to help support you. Feel free to add me as a friend. And I'm going to get on that over-40 thread now too! Ro

Panties are a motivator! Way to go!

So, I think I'm going to start weighing in early. Saturday mornings are my new weigh in days. I have the awesomesauce Rock Star challenge and another 30lb challenge I just joined and to keep my weight loss tracking consistent (and not drive myself crazy!) I'm going to weigh in for both on the same day. So, for this week's…

Checking in for Team Bootie Busters. Lost 3.2 pounds this week. Looks like I'm busting through the plateau that's been plaguing me. I'm happy this morning :) SW 233 30lb SW 188 CW 184.8 GW 150

Well welcome kitkat! You've come to the right place. It's hard doing this on your own and you'll find (like I did) that the support of new friends on MFP will make all the difference in the world! It did for me. I'm happy to help support you in any way I can. --Ro

I have a few of the diff Mrs Dash flavors and they are ok but don't float my boat. I also tried a Morton salt substitute that I'm underwhelmed with. I'd be interested to hear other ideas as well. Why of why is salt so darn good? lol

I just signed up for a 5-week bootcamp starting June 21! Looking forward to it kicking my butt 2x a week. Obviously I know every class is different but it's nice to see what routine you went through this day. I'm going to do a search for other typical classes. Thanks for posting!

I got the Polar FT7 for about $100 dollars. There are many HRMs out there, some less expensive, some more.

Forgot to mention that the treadmill picked up my HRM and was showing my heart rate during the whole workout. The treadmill was off by some points on and off the whole time, but all in all it was showing about the same hr as the HRM.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE food too! I just try to make healthier choices, completely control my portions, and manage my calories. If I want a certain meal, most times I have it, just maybe less of it or I'll subsitute something else for another meal that day to balance the calories. You can do it. Lots of websites that can help…

Funny! You should put that in your signature.
