Went to lunch at PF Changs. The lettuce wraps alone were 580 calories, not bad, right? 2600 mg salt. I had an eggroll (320 for 2, so 160), Pad Thai Shrimp, another 1,000 cals and 5200 mg sodium. We would've done better eating a regular hamburger and small fries from McDonalds (470 calories and 640 mg salt). We eat out so…

Last time I went to Disney World (2 years ago) I logged 22,000 steps every day with my fitbit zip. I ate whatever I wanted and managed to go home 2 pounds less than I arrived. Never underestimate the amount of walking you'll be doing. When the kids were little we brought nuts, string cheese, apple slices (you can buy them…

I think I sent you a friend request. Yes I said "think", I'm having issues with this site today. You can totally do this.

I log everything and when I don't I start seeing the scale go up. I once logged two grapes, that I weighed. I like to be accurate and I want my numbers to be as close to accurate as possible. And I want to lose weight, too and that means for me, I have to be accurate. As I am slowly and painfully learning.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. There is no way on this earth I can eat the amount of protein it's telling me to consume, so basically that's a goal I'll never hit. I wish it was just stay at one set amount.

You look wonderful!

I generally eat the same thing every morning: 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese and 3 hard boiled eggs - whites only. Sometimes I'll do the cottage cheese with an individual serving of Tableside Chunky Guacamole. It works and I don't have to think about it.

Hummus, onion dip made with fat free greek yogurt, raw veggies or, if I'm lucky, I have roasted veggies in the fridge that just need a small warm up in the microwave!

Just joined - keep losing the same three pounds - don't they know there's 25 other ones that need to be lost as well? I'm one of those people who never had a weight problem (I am 5ft 8 in tall and weighed 125 until about three years ago, blessed with a super metabolism) until I quit smoking and began the dreaded menopause.…

Roasted Broccoli 1bunch of broccoli (florets and I peel and use the stems as well) 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder Mix it all together, put it on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 20 minutes or so. You want some charred bits on it and it gets pretty sweet.…

I've never posted anything before, but here goes: I've never had trouble with weightloss before. I've been tall and slender with a fantastic metabolism all my life - even after giving birth three times I bounced right back to pre-baby weight. I chalk it up to good genes. Then I went through menopause and decided to quit…
