I don't drink soda anymore. The occasional sip of someone else's always tastes weird to me now. I drink mostly water. I drink the zero calorie offerings of SoBe and Vitamin Waters too. I love me some iced tea on occasion too. I'm also down to 1 cup of coffee in the mornings for the most part. Occasionally, I'll have 2, but…

Drizzle with EVOO, sprinkle with lemon zest and grill/broil for a few minutes. THEN top with freshly grated nutmeg. The flavors of nutmeg with the asparagus and lemon produce tannins and complex flavors similar to those found in wine.

I would take this a step further and say weigh your cooking vessels before and after you put food in them. That way when a recipe serves something other than 2, 4 or 8, you can find the weight of each serving and be more accurate. I suck when trying to estimate thirds or any other "odd" fraction.

I eat leftovers whenever possible! Today was 6 oz of rotisserie chicken, 1 cup of vegetables, and a serving of mashed potatoes. All under 500 calories!

Short answer anyway: NO.

CDs are still relevant. Signed, Phone Books I can't even remember the last time I had to pay for music - of course I work at a radio station.

Nice taste in music.

Roasts are good. Brisket is good. I'd add ribs/tips to this list as well. Not to get too scientific or gross, but cuts of meat (from any critter) that have a lot of connective tissue are great candidates for the Crockpot's low and slow methods of cooking (simmering, braising, etc.) Long exposure to low(er) heat helps…

If NASCAR is a sport, then the drivers of those cars are "professional" athletes. Therefore, anyone with a car is an athlete. LOL. I despise running. But I do enjoy biking, walking, weight training and other sports.

I walk around the building and at a nearby park for lunch and breaks. When weather is too cold or uncooperative, I found that walking up/down the stairs is quite helpful. Yesterday it was snowy. Our building has an underground parking garage. I did several laps around its perimeter which is about 1/8th of a mile. I think…

I've found that the La Favorita breakfast burritos are quite tasty and low in calories - for me. The vegetarian is 170 calories. The bacon is 210. I know they're headquartered in Colorado. I'm not sure how big their operation is or how far their products are distributed.

Mexican food (especially crispy chile rellenos), pizza, chicken wings... all the "good" stuff.

I'm not only amazed at some of the great ideas, but some of the photography is stellar - as in magazine worthy! Keep them coming!

Fitness, but the benefits of being fit/healthy will help me fit into clothes I'd never considered before.

The best way to get around this is to weigh your cooking vessels when they're empty. Then weigh the same vessel with the target food. If you're serious about truly keeping track and an "estimate" isn't good enough, a digital food scale is a vital purchase. Make a spreadsheet of the empty vessel weight, print it and put it…

You give me hope! Thanks for sharing.
