  • Jumping rope is a GOOD one! And having a trainer critique our form is a great idea! Thanks everyone!
  • You ladies look FANASTIC! I love the thread. I consider myself a shorty, but I am 5'4".....I guess that throws me into the.....TALL group?!?!?! Thanks for the question and for all of the pics!
  • Let me throw one more issue on it for you.....I am banded! It doesn't absorb calories or fat, it doesn't magically speed up my metabolism or make the fat fall off! I still work under 1200 cals per day, workout 4-5 times per week and try to burn 500-1000 cals per workout. I walk around sore becuse I am trying to build and…
  • BUMP! I'm curious about feedback. Don't know what Tonalin even is.
  • Control freak here too! I log before I eat, but I often change my mind and go a different direction. I delete what I didn't eat and it helps me thry to get the right amounts of nutrients per day.

  • Inspiring! You look great! Those jeans even look a little big on you! I am amazed at all of the inches and clothes sizes lost! Keep it up, I need inspiration!
  • LOVE IT! I also buy smaller clothes as motivation to lose! I generally forget about them until they are too big. That's a GREAT NSV!
  • This is what I have learned in all of my research.... Stay properly hydrated. Hydrated skin is elastic skin. Age plays an important role, as does the amount of time it takes you to lose weight....lose slower, your skin has time to catch up. Exercise can help with toning and therefore tightening of the tissue under the…
  • MAYBE A SIZE 6? You go! Thank goodness for hubbies and friends that go aroung grabbing smaller sizes.....and for hubbies that will go shopping with you! Keep it up!
  • I just got and have started to read the book from Chelsea Handler's trainer, the Venice Nutrition guy, and he actually says to eat a meal within 1 hour of waking and within 1 hour of going to sleep...hungry or not! This totally is against everything that I had ever heard! Curious about feedback!
  • I'm friend requesting you now! You can do this. I originally had 168 lbs to lose and have lost 47. It takes focus and dedication, but it can be done. There are lots of success stories in the boards for motivation!
  • I'm a work in progress, but this is my opinion thus far: 1. Exercise! You have to move to be successful. The more you move, the better you feel. THe better you feel, the better you eat. The better you eat, the more you can move! See the cycle? 2. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Most of this is a head game. Winning…
  • I am rolling in the floor.....so funny! I guess I'm one step closer to smaller boobs! I know that my legs HURT after wearing heels all evening, so I think toning makes sense!

  • You look great! The most amazing pic is your "super sporty" workout pic. Keep it up....and post pics when you reach your goal! What kind of exercise do you do?
  • Keep it up! You are doing a great job!
  • WOWZA! You look amazing! I am friend requesting you immediately! We have similar starting weights and I would LOVE to be where you are now!
  • finally fixed my pics! You wouldn't think I spent all day doing engineering functions because I am not technologically advanced, but I know chemical injection and chemical transfer pumps, not computers!
  • @ mosneakers JEALOUS! I wanted to go to their show in Houston (weekend after this one), but I already made plans! Have a great time at the show and give them a hug for me! Thanks to everyone for the positive feedback! I am banded, but it still requires alot of WORK! I am working on incorporating exercise and activity into…
  • I'm working on the pics! I'll get them reposted!
  • I definately see a difference! Your back is far more toned now. I see a big difference in your inner thighs and your stomach. Keep up the good work....you are looking fantastic!
  • Holy Moly Mandy! You look great! I love the before and after pics! That is a HUGE difference. Keep up the good work....and thanks for being one of my inspirational friends!
  • Wearing clothing that is more form fitting can make you look thinner. I am finding this out currently! Yay for tight clothes!
  • Hypo here! I have been working toward getting regulated for a few years now! I am up to 250 mcg per day of synthroid and 5 mcg cytomel, but with my weight loss, they said that less body fat and the same amount of meds can throw me into hyper! It's a constant battle. There's not much you can do other than to keep your…
  • I like how your swagger has changed. In the first picture, you look like a nice fun guy, but in the second you look just as nice and fun, but you have a "How you doin' " kind of look. It looks like confidence! AWESOME job!
  • Thanks for the support! Now I just need to take a new picture. My profile pic is from 47 lbs ago! I'll do it soon.
  • She did say that more exercise, especially muscle building exercise, will use more protein since protein is used for the healing and building of muscles. I generally do around 25 grams per 3-4 hours...which is around 100 grams per day!
  • I eat when I'm hungry. I try to make healthy, lean protein, good fats, carbs from fruit and veggies, choices for every meal. I am not anywhere near perfect, but I try to listen to what my body is saying and keep my blood sugar under control by avoiding starches and eating mostly whole grains. I believe that a chocolate…
  • I see the pics! It looks like you have lost more than 30 lbs! You look great.....do you feel better? I think that is the true test of success.
