It is actually a wellness center. Mine was only $75 and they didn’t try to sell me anything!

Right? That would be tons of water to drink! The place that I go actually has a nutritionist that specializes in various WOE like Keto, Paleo, whole 30 and suggests macros based on your goals. He works with mainly fitness competitors so has tons of muscle building before and afters!

Old Navy makes amazing compression leggings. Not see-through and hold you on for running. They feel super secure and are cute too!

So, in your opinion, how many people entering a fitness competition need to lose 10 lbs and gain muscle? Maybe the majority of them? It was a suggestion. Take a chill pill and relax! @liftheavythings27105 actually brought up a valid point that needs mentioning! Keto can make you fatter!! I didn’t see it as an arguement at…

Look up Fit2Fat2Fit. Drew is a big proponent of Keto while muscle building. Obviously you need to follow a particular plan (higher protein, slightly lower fat) that is different from someone trying to lose 50 lbs. You still have to eat fewer calories than you expend if you want to lose weight. Contrary to popular belief,…

Holy moly! How long did this take you? And how did you eat? Keto? Or lchp?

This is 8 years of work. There were plenty of days where motivation was lost. Just don’t beat yourself up for imperfection!
-
Or do Keto to cut with higher protein for building muscle. Most of my fitness competition friends go this route.

I had a hard time in some positions with yoga at 327 lbs, but modifications are always available. Anyone who says that yoga is more for relaxation than weight loss has never been 276 or 327 lbs. it definitely helps to build muscles. I am now a yoga and barre instructor, so I help to modify my classes for all fitness and…

Sugar free cinnamon dolce syrup and light (or a splash?) heavy cream. It is my Keto friendly go to coffee. Heavy cream doesn’t have sugar. Fat, yes. Sugar, no. Make sure that they don’t put whipped cream. I have had this happen a few times.

SW: 327 lbs CW: 165 lbs GW: 135 lbs I’m 10 years older in the after picture!

Not as petite as you, but 5’4” and 165 with high muscle content. I’m following, but have been fighting these last few lbs. I think I’m on the right track with KETO and tons of working out because it is falling off. Haven’t been on it long enough for a definite verdict.

It was my first bikini...EVER! I have since purchased multiples!

Thank you! And it takes time and long term dedication. That is a common misconception with weight loss surgery. There is still a ton of work involved, especially to keep it off after the first year!
-
Thank you! Barre is truly one of the best workouts ever! I’m amazed at what it has done for my butt and legs! Keep up the good work!
-
First of all WOW! You look amazing! I bet you feel even better! I have seen insurance cover some tummy tucks based on sores under the skin. I had a arms with jplasty (braline skin) and lower body lift with butt augmentation (with my own skin!) it was right at 24K, out of pocket. My doctor was quite a bit more expensive…

Thank you so much! When I look at my journey as compared to what so many others are going through, it seems so small and minuscule in comparison. I try to keep going to help others!
-
Thank you all so much! It has been a rough road, but support makes it all possible!

It was an excruciating 10 week recovery with 6 weeks in bed and little walking. Hard for anyone, near impossible for a fitness instructor! My recovery was really long due to the flu, a really bad Levaquin reaction, a necrotizing infection, and a massive uterine fibroid that they discovered in surgery. I’m this pic I still…

SW 327 CW 186.2 Goal: to be healthy!! Barre instructor in training!

It was really a culmination of many issues that were a turning point for me. I had to ride a motorized scooter in a grocery store because my legs just couldn't handle walking. I dreaded riding in an airplane because I feared that they would make a purchase two seats. I couldn't find cute clothes because I was just too big.…

Keto here too! Brand new though!

Except for the whole KETO thing, right?

Band to sleeve revision in December 2016. 65 lbs down since revision and 139 down total! Best decision ever! It still takes lots of work and patience. Expect stalls where you lose absolutely nothing for weeks (or months for me!) at a time. Listen to your doctor and your body! I just tried on my prom dress and it was huge.…

For me, yes! It matters. As a person with a damaged metabolism and extreme insulin resistance from PCOS, I have to maintain extremely low carb. I was high protein and moderate fat and have lost 139 lbs in 8 years. I recently switched to keto to reach a fat loss goal. The key, however for me, is being active. 12-15 hours…

Yes!!! I second this. I am 36 and let myself get up to 327 lbs. I have lost 83 lbs, but still have 90 to go. It would have been easier at 20....and I was only at 220 lbs then! Enjoy that younger metabolism and get everything taken care of early! My symptoms were finally managed a few years back, but then I lost weight so…

I'm struggling to find my motivation to lose the last 90 lbs....

I went to try on some clothes that I have been waiting to fit into. Some of them are now too large! I guess I didn't try them on soon enough!

Way to go! onederland is a great place to be! Your weight and health going in the right direction is an outstanding accomplishment at a 10 lb loss or a 200 lb loss! Keep it up!
