I know for me personally its about getting on a kick for cravings. For example, I might go 3 weeks eating perfectly clean healthy foods...but then I might have something on a weekend that makes me go off track (a kids birthday party or something with lots of cake and ice cream). I do allow myself treats, I am not that…

I LOVE bananas...I just wish the handled the ride in my lunch bag better and I would eat them more. It never fails I have a very bruised and smushy nanner come lunch!

I don't believe anybody posted this, I surely called nobody dumb!. I feel us "naysayers" simply posted how it is against forum rules! In this day in age it is pretty clear that if you post ANYTHING about religion on a PUBLIC forum, this is what you are asking for and then you get it!
-
I love when knowledge can trump religion!
-
Religion is supposed to be kept out of the forums! I would just LOVE to see how quickly I would get reported for an ANTI-RELIGION post.

personally I hate it for running, feels awkward...the fuel belt is the WORST! My handheld water bottle is the best it straps on and I don't have to grip anything!

This sounds right. I am 5'9 and currently hovering around 150...but I still have fat on me. I would love to be 145 and more tone.

Interested to hear some answers. I have been reading through NRL4W and I am not sure where I sure start! I currently take a "sculpting" class....very repetitive and more endurance than anything and I get tired and struggle with 5lb weights, although our reps are INSANE! When I do move into heavy lifting I don't want to…

I am 5'9 and I just reached my goal of 150 and I am still pudgy in areas...especially tummy and waist. I think 150 would be a bit much for someone 5 inches shorter than myself.

This is not weight lifting. This is using muscles but when people say weight lifting they mean HEAVY weights in the weight section of the gym, generally not something you could do at home. Get New Rules of Lifting for Women. It helped me a lot. Still reading the book, and not completing in the program yet, but getting so…

this sounds incredibly too high!!!!!

Its just a simple mathmatical equation. In theory yes...a pound weighs 3500 calories, so if you are set to one pound a week loss AND you stick with the 500 calories a day deficit you would in theory lose a pound a week. MFP uses the calories eaten that day to say what could hypothetically happen if the body was a perfect…

BUMP is an accronym for Bring Up My Post.... It was originally intended for the OP (Original Poster) to use as a way to make his or her post active again in a forum setting.
-
nope nope nope! A pound of muscle equals a pound of fat...they weigh the same...don't let this false notion get stuck in your head! Also...DON'T give up weights...some of both will really help.

Thats why I didn't say I am an expert. Clearly my words are being taken very out of context and not in the entirety of the entire original post I made so I will just stop. Its been a long day, little sleep, no coffee and if this keeps up I might start yelling! :P

Thank you! I should stay out of the forums cause I am bad with words...but I was focusing on the healthy release of fighting. AND the fact that you know its love when you can fight, get over it, make up and still rather not be anywhere else. I have seen relationships who never fight fail...I have seen myself grow because…

hmmmm...you didn't say you DID fight. When I buy the wrong kind of cheese and he is all...blah blah blah, I am not eating that cheese, thats a disagreement not a fight. When we get into heated debates over politics, yes those are arguements, not fights. So clearly, you can see why I assumed you didn't fight, you didn't say…
-
really...wow....yeah, I wouldn't want to be with someone who wouldn't yell. Its proven that if you don't fight its worse than if you do!
-
hmmmmm....I am in love and I still don't like this! I do pee with the door open though!

Love is fighting and screaming at another person. Love is difference of opinions and contrasting beliefs. Love is being bored out of your mind with nothing to do. Love can be mean, brutal, contradicting, dull, and lack luster...but what makes it love is that at the end of the day, you would not change a thing that happened…

well a great workout means you used lots of fuel so its natural for your body to be hungry. Protein is the best food to help keep you full.

I LOVE raisin bran. The name brand ones like Post and Kellogg have lots of added sugar...but I buy the Organic Trader Joes raisin bran and its yummy! There is still a decent amount of sugar from the raisins...but I measure and use skim milk and it fits into my days just fine!

Very true....NROL4W does require a gym as you need an actual weight room! I just started reading the book and it made me decide I need a gym membership stat!
-
I have not done CE but every other Chalene workout! :) I do like her workouts, a lot! Not knowing how CE is different I can't imagine it being too similar to NROL4W as she is not a weight lifting gal as more as toning and endurance. I JUST started reading NROL4W and they have a very clear cut workout plan for listing and…

I too do not like FAT FREE ranch...I do however like LIGHT ranch! Also, I read the servings and cals...most servings are for 2 tablespoons and I find that I can easily do ONE. If its in a container with a lid and you shake the hell out of it the dressing will get everywhere and taste great! So yup I stick with what I like…

Well I wouldn't want either...I wasn't saying, "Hey, you are being mean...you should sugar coat everything and lie through your teeth!" I was simply thinking that typing in "EYEROLL" as part of your response wasn't needed. Rolling your eyes at someone is hugely insulting and thus mean. I teach kids all day (my own and my…

Working out uses your body in ways you might not be used to and yes, that can be exhausting...your body is probably tired and adjusting. Also, if you cut out foods or watching what you eat more, maybe your caffenine or sugar is lower and not giving you spikes that used to make you feel more awake.

I have actually recently heard an article (of course I can't remember from where) that the average adult needs more than 8 hours of sleep. Ill google around a bit and see if I can find it.

This is why people think others are mean. She KNOWS she is over and she KNOWS its cheating herself. That was never a question! She is simply looking for support!

Its not about chasing perfection as much as chasing a healthy lifestyle and looking out for your bodies future.
