Actually no...BUMP is an acronmy for Bring Up My Post....a way for the OP (Original Poster) to "BUMP" it back to a thread that is frequently seen due to popularity. Everyone who BUMPs so they can find it later is completely misusing the term.

according to your diary you are either WAY over on calories everyday or WAY under. Thats not how this works. Your net needs to be fairly close to your suggested calorie goal MFP gives you or the goal you have based on your TDEE and BMR. Ignoring the numbers don't help.

your logic is flawed. yes, Koolaid contains the base of water just like tea. THUS, you are getting the hydating effects of water. You would need to count the calories of anything added, but koolaid does not take away the fact you start with water...

I used to drink wine at night all willy nilly! I love to cook so I drank while I cook. It was still only 1-2 glasses of wine but I USED to think a "glass" was poured to the top!! I drink nightly. I have lost almost 40 pounds, I have gone from barely fitting into a size 12 to needing to belt my size 6-8s. I run half marathons. I feel awesome. Are you measuring her food? Are you feeding her on an intermittent schedule or small meals throughout the day? Are you feeding her after 8pm? All things to consider...but don't cut back her food too much. She will go into starvation mode and become skinny fat...NO ONE wants a skinny fat calico cat!

If your goal is 1200 calories your calories consumed should be at least 1200 calories. Your NET calories takes into account your calories burned through workout. So if your food calories say 1200 and your exercise calories say 500 your net calories would show a positive 700 (1200-500). You then need to EAT back some if not…

Its no more a problem than people who used food for comfort or whatever and got fat in the first place. Alcohol is a legal substance that our society uses as an evening out...bars namely. Being ignorant on the matter surely helps no one. I can easily go out and not drink, but I choose not to...much like the OP said.

This is really helpful! I do think I should invest in heavier weights for home and do some of the same type of routines at much smaller reps. We always do a rep of 8 for what seems like 10-15 times...but heavier for less time seems to be a common thought. Thanks for the input!
