Day 1 Arm and Dumbell challenge done.

I work out at home so I just take a pad and pencil with me when I go to the torture room, haha. My memory isn't what it used to be.
-
That's a really good idea. Make a personal spreadsheet, lol.

Day 1 arm challenge done.

Wow, what a day. So far I have done the arm challenge, the dumbbell challenge, got around 111 miles racked up, making a salad with kalamata olives and greek peppers, no sugar (that's easy, I don't do sugar anyway), my usual 30 minutes on the treadmill inclined and 34 minutes on the stat bike. Now on to squats!!!!!!! I sure…

Sorry you are having family issues, hope everything turns out ok. Maybe you can join the next challenge. Keep up with what's going on if you can. We could still use a cheerleader if you can't participate.
-
@Headrain maybe you could log on first to show everyone how to make the entries in the spreadsheet? That way if the first person logs it wrong everyone won't follow suit and get it wrong as well? Just a thought. I know some of the stuff but not all. Lynn, you log the squat challenge on the squat thread. Just say yes or no…

75 squats done.

Hi all, if you want to figure the calories burned doing squats, here's the formula. Wt. X .096= ? X minutes=calories burned.
-
Most people have already started on the squat challenge, but you can start anytime. Just start out with 50 and work your way up. I was a day late and started on the current days number and then did day one on the off day. That way I was caught up. You can work it out anyway you want. The arm and dumbbell challenges start…

70 squats done today.
-
Hi Lynn, glad to have you aboard.

Looks like a fun ride. Hills and coast. I love the names of the towns you rode through. I wouldn't be able to sit down for a week and would need lots of wine tonight!!!
-
Thanks dittybugdesign, with grapes, olives, feta, greek yogurt, and spinach, it's a good start.

Should we list our foods on the spreadsheet to make it easier for our leaders? What about sugarless? Sure seems like a lot of work for our brave leaders. Just trying to figure out how to make it less time consuming for them.

Just read this weeks challenges. I'm in for the dance: Food, not so much. Wonder if Greek Yogurt counts??? Shouldn't be too hard to find 5 things Greek, should it? I have grapes, olives and feta on hand, just need to find a couple of other things. Suggestions appreciated.

I just add up my workouts on the fitbit app for my cycling and treadmill, I just keep track of my lifting times on paper, although I could just press the button for that as well, I guess. I don't keep track of calorie burn when I lift anyway.
-
okay, finally got this straightened out. I started day one with day two squats, then did day three, today is the day off so I did 50 for day one. Got it? Lol
-
Welcome Christine, your kids are really cute.
-
Pat, what are your expectations for the race? Should we say good luck or break a leg? Don't know cycling superstitions, lol.
-
oh yeah, when it comes to food. I have found that I have to go to the grocery store full, otherwise, my counter looks like yours.
-
Chatpati, sorry about the name confusion.
-
Welcome to the crowd Steve. Sounds like you are a pretty busy guy. Thanks for the gift.(credit card)
-
Hi Pat, it's ok if you want to stay a guy. Don't feel bad, everyone thinks I'm a man with a name like Dale. The government tried to draft me into the army when I turned 18. Lol.

We sure have a lot of diversity in our team members. Isn't that great? How about The Variety Pack? or not.

Wow, I made a lot of friends overnight!!! Must be my "winning" personality. Go team 3.
