  • Stationary bike with tension adjustments can burn a lot of calories if you work at it.
  • The biggest pain to me is deciding what to cook everyday. I have to start thinking about it the night before. Usually right after I've had dinner and I'm not at all hungry, so nothing sounds good to me. Trying to figure out what to cook that my husband likes and I can eat as well can be trying. Figuring out a variety of…
  • Your butt will get used to the saddle. Just try going a little further every time you ride.
  • Monday- salad Tuesday- salad and gnocchi with chicken and red sauce
  • Weighing EVERYTHING and logging is my goal for the week.
  • I have been working out a lot, took Saturday totally off. My body needed a rest. One of the downsides to working out so much is my appetite has increased which has negatively affected my diet. I am determined to eat much better this week. First order of business is to make a ginormous salad and eat that about 20 minutes…
  • I'll go with measurements: Waist down 2.75" Hips-same Bust down .5" thigh down .25" arm-same abdomen-same Total inches lost-3.5"
  • Sorry Nicci, not a yoga person. Maybe search you tube or some yoga websites. I'm trying to get to the video as well. Hard to fit extra things into my workout routine but I am determined to get it done. Maybe tomorrow as I won't be lifting then.
  • I think so too!!! Although, there are a lot of places I'd rather go. Still, I'm sure it has lots of interesting things to see.
  • Glad to have you back, Kayla. Don't do too much and get sick again.
  • No problem Pat, I laugh myself. I guess it's better to laugh than to give up. I've decided that no matter what happens weight wise, the benefits I am getting from keeping on the move far outweigh that stinking 168 number. So I will keep on keeping on!
  • Getting on the scales these days has become laughable. I actually had my husband weigh himself just to see if the dang scale was stuck on 168 and wouldn't move. Sadly it did move with him on it. :( For the last 3 weeks the scale has not moved up nor down. The s-a-m-e weight day after day after day after day. I almost feel…
  • Things I've learned to be more accountable for: 1. Stop adding things in that I don't actually eat just to see my status update. 2. Drink lots more water than I was before. 3. Add more veggies in place of starches. Things to work on: 1. Lift weights at least 3 times a week even if I don't think I have time. 2. Learn that…
  • I'll reach out to Chel325 and see what's going on with her. That's a lot of miles to rack up in one week for me too, Lynn. Gotta go buy some fish tomorrow!!
  • Hmmm. That's a problem. Have you contacted them? Some people may be waiting for Sunday to post?? I don't know why they would unless they are working on the all or nothing challenges.

  • I'm back from my tax week and having to sit with my father in law a couple of days. Very poor showing on my part this week and I apologize to the team, but sometimes life just gets in the way. BTW, stairs are not fair for a flatlander!
  • 2/5 belly dancing videos done. I feel uncoordinated and I can feel it in my obliques. However, I've mastered the turns. Maybe I'll open the blinds now that I'm on a role and let the neighbourhood enjoy my new found skill. Steve, this makes me wish I was one of your neighbors, hehe :) Nothing exciting ever happens in my…
  • Well, this is tax week for me. I have been tied to the computer trying to get all the numbers for my tax lady. My apt with her is Wednesday, so I won't be doing much until I turn over everything to her. I will try to make up all my numbers from Wednesday afternoon and on. Gee, I wish I wasn't such a procrastinator, but I…
  • My fitbit says 10 feet is counted as a flight. Hope this helps.
  • Wow, I live in the flatlands of Florida, in the woods, no stairs at my house. This is really going to be challenging!Maybe I can talk my husband into putting a ladder up for me to climb everyday!
  • Tomorrow is another day and another chance. Go after it!
  • Lorna, I think everyone must be racking up miles. Looks like it's just us two on here tonight. Haven't heard a word from anyone all day. Sorry to hear about your tummy problems, do you usually fast on Wednesday? I never get upset stomach when I fast, I used to get headaches but now I just cruise right through. I was doing…
  • You are very welcome.
  • I'm in it to WIN it! The Easter Egg video is an easy 25 pts. nothing hard about it. Already posted egg recipe, doing a lot of extra miles thanks to YOU, :# haha. Let's go Variety Pack!
  • Thanks Pat. :)
  • Nicci, maybe you had a little too much sodium with those extra calories. Most likely water weight. I've been finding lots of foods that I eat that has omega 3's in them. Some a total surprise like lettuce! How far can you get from fish oil? I have remained the same, no gain no loss, but I am going to weigh tomorrow and see…
  • Yes, malnutrition is something to look out for with a lower calorie intake. I take vitamin and mineral supplements along with a B complex and B12, also Calcium (I'm old ya know). Now if I can just get off the frozen yogurt train I think I'll be okay. :)
  • Thanks for posting about the challenge, Lorna. It's nice to have it all in one place. I sure hope we don't lose too many team members! Hey, I found out today that spinach and romaine lettuce has Omega 3's. I'm in like Flynn, was planning on making a huge salad tomorrow and with a few nuts and seeds on top, I'll be Omega…
  • Pat's back in the saddle again! I know it felt good after a week off.
