I honestly cannot lose weight without tracking. i find that I underestimate what I am eating...and usually by a lot. I also do not manipulate my numbers. Not being honest on my log only hurts me!

I generally do a short warm-up with cardio, lift weights, and then finish with 20ish minute run. I also do cardio on days when I am not lifting. Who knows if I am right or wrong but as long as I am getting some results I am good with it! :smile:

My goal is to run a half-marathon in April 2015. In the mean-time, I continue to participate in 5K runs in which I strive for a better time.

I love my Flex. The only time I ever take it off is when I shower. Seems to be fairly accurate and seriously easy to use...and best part...I can link it to MFP!

I am about to do my 20th "race" and I have never once been competitive. i do it for the challenge, always trying to get a better time...and some of them have really cool shirts! I say go for it! :tongue:

I think the biggest thing is to not try and run too fast. It is very easy to get caught up in the excitement of the moment and wear yourself out too quickly

I am at 6 days a week currently but with the nicer weather I will be doing my cardio only days outside. I will continue to lift weights at the gym 3 days a week.

For running I have seriously found 80s music to do wonders but for weight lifting I usually listen to Korn and other stuff like that!
