If his opinion holds any weight - Dr. Oz says workout before you eat so that you are burning off the old fat/carbs first thing. I always workout first, weigh in, than eat breakfast.

I was a junk food-a-holic myself and after 5-6 weeks the cravings are gone and the will power is strong. I just select one sweet that has some redeeming quality... Lucky Charms. But due to sugars, only partake 2-3 mornings/week. I have no problems passing on chips, candy, soda, etc.

I am a firm believer in mixing it up - it's supposed to be better for your muscles to keep them guessing! A good morning workout gets your metabolism kicked in gear, so don't be afraid to work it!

I grab pop corn as a filler too... usually Orville Redenbacker Light Butter. You really have to compare the nutrition labels though, because we've noted a big difference in calories, etc. between this and other Orville products. Everything in moderation, right?!
