  • I think you want to know from vanity's perspective, instead of from health's perspective. To that end, even though the "Twinkie Diet" does allow people to lose weight, I wonder if you'll be losing muscle mass because of a lack of nutrients. Then you'll be skinny fat :( So it's still not worth it!
  • Glad to see that I haven't been screwing myself by working too hard!
  • Today is a new day! I for sure have had some serious slip ups where I ate and drank and ate and drank and ate and...well, you get the picture! The point is that I'm still here and losing weight since those slip ups, and you will be too! Let it serve to motivate you and not discourage you! Congratulations on your success so…
  • I agree with previous posters, drink a protein shake!
  • I don't really understand how much sugar is too much. Today I had a Chobani fruit on the bottom at 20 g (I know I could lower my sugar by buying plain and adding my own fruit, but I'm lazy) and an apple at 25 g, and I was over!
  • I do NOT have this issue (kind of wish I did, grass is always greener...) but maybe you just need to do some squats and build some muscle in that butt! Or this ;) http://www.lovemybubbles.com/land-padded-panties.shtml
  • Wheaties! I also am a yogurt and fruit person but was all out - it was a welcome change! Just made sure to measure my portion because I can go way out of control with cereal...
  • Squats is correct! I log "strength training" and try to only include the time spent actually performing the exercises, and not my rest periods in between. Today, I spent an hour working out but I estimate that I rested a minute between each of my 3 sets of 8 exercises, so I approximated and only logged a half hour. I'm…
  • Awesome! I can't wait to weigh what it says I weigh on my driver's license, lol!
  • I don't think they have chicken, I had the same dilema last week at work for a going away lunch for a partner at my law firm (couldn't exactly skip that...) Their menu is online. I ended up getting a mini hamburger and putting on onions, mustard and pickles. It's still pretty terrible for you, but not as terrible?…
  • The weight you gained is probably water from taking in too much sugar! But it's ok! Having lost 2 lbs, you know that it is possible to lose! So just get back to what you were doing before. And, as painful as it may be, log your binge. Seeing everything in black and white may help you to not do it again! That's what I did…

  • My boyfriend had the same problem - as always, read the nutrition label before purchasing! Definitely look into them though, I love them! I drink Worldwide Sports Nutrition: Pure Protein (usually vanilla) because I can buy it between working out and going to work. I'm sure if you look into it you can find a better,…
  • That's awesome! Congrats on your success so far :)
  • Me too! However, I feel like I've been losing in a "2 steps forward, 1 step back" fashion, so I'm hoping that this most recent set back will be followed by a leap forward! Just gotta keep moving!
  • Where in Jamaica?! OMG, happiest place on earth :) I went to Negril with some girlfriends a couple of years ago and it was AMAZING! I agree with a previous poster, don't worry, be happy!
  • I just googled this recipe, but I hope it works for you! I <3 google :) http://healthyindulgences.blogspot.com/2008/12/chocolate-giveaway-and-healthy-red.html
  • Awesome! You're an inspiration! Similar SW and GW, I've lost 6 lbs so far this month and I'm hoping I'll see results like yours!
  • Awesome! Yes you can do it! I've lost 7 lbs so far, still have lots to go, but that's 7 lbs more than I believed I could've lost before MFP!
  • WOW, you look great!!! What an accomplishment! In a YEAR?! Crazy!
  • I think you'll be fine by Friday. Just try not to stress! You WILL get the hang of it, and quickly! You'll probably stall every once in a while after you start to feel comfortable but it's not a big deal. When I was just learning to drive stick I would proudly proclaim "I only stalled X time(s)!" of even better "I didn't…
  • Congratulations! I would be so happy too :)
  • THAT'S annoying. Saturday afternoon, my boyfriend ate an entire DiGiorno pepperoni, stuffed crust pizza in front of me. He is in great shape and it kills me that he can afford to eat that way! I feel you!
  • I never officially introduced myself on this site so I don't have any friends either, I'm going to leech and friend everyone on here too :)
  • I eat Mission whole grain torillas, burrito size (so they're bigger than the taco ones), and I think they're really good. They're 120 calories but, considering 1 piece of the Arnold's 7 grain bread that I buy is 120 calories and a sandwhich takes 2 pieces of bread, I think it's a pretty good deal! They also have spinach,…
  • You're right, Michelob Ultra is quickly becoming my new favorite! I feel like it tastes so much better than MGD 64, but I've yet to try Budweiser Select! Next time! Smuggling is definitely the way to go! If only for the fact that you can control what you'll be drinking in advance ;) That's how I'll justify it anyway!…
  • Wow, this is the perfect thread for me for me to vent! I seriously need to curtail my consumption - last night I went to a baseball game with some friends. We were going to have a beer at a bar and then head to the game, since beers at the stadium are EXPENSIVE! We ordered FOUR PITCHERS between the FOUR OF US...good…
  • Copied to April thread
  • Good luck!

  • Didn't see that you've been doing this for 4 months, but if you've only been logging for 15 days then diet could've been the issue before.
