Thanks! I guess I just need to woman up :) I'm actually going to try to go today after work and before playing softball (and hopefully make some room for the pizza and beer on the schedule for this evening) and then I can pick up with A2 on Sunday, sticking to 3/wk!

I just started on Monday, and was supposed to do 1B yesterday, and then today, but I am still SOOOO sore! Hopefully I'll be better recovered tomorrow and I'll still be on target with 2 workouts/wk, although I'd really prefer to do 3. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks for this. I just started back up at mfp, and remembered the weight coming off so easily at first last time! But it didn't, there was a long delay and THEN the pounds dropped. I really needed an article to tell me to be patient!

When you work out, especially when you're first starting, your muscles retain a lot of water to help with the rebuilding process. Drink A LOT of water and give it another month or so and you should see those 6 lbs flushed out and then some.

You can do it! I'm about to finish week 5 (although it's probably taken 10 weeks to get to this point), if you miss a run or two or three just pick up where you left off and keep going! And if you can't do a run, just keep repeating until you finish!

I understand that you've been trying to lose weight for a long time, but how long have you been tracking calories? I see that you joined in August so that should have been enough time to see some movement but, looking at your diary, it doesn't seem that you log consistently, unless you really don't eat dinner most nights.…

I wouldn't log it, because I consider such activity part of my lifestyle and already accounted for in the amount of calories MFP gives me. You'll find differing opinions on here, but if you are going to log it, I would consider it light/moderate. I imagine that heavy/vigorous would have you on your hands and knees…

I was sick two weeks ago and did not get my butt into gear to go last week...but I did today! And I will tomorrow! I wish I had gone all of last week but all I can do is move forward! Basically, don't do what I did! But if you do, just pick yourself back up!

Thanks, Sunshine_88 and TateFTW. I guess I could eat my cereal as desert since I like to eat something sweet before bed but I often don't have the calories for it! I had started reading parts of leangains but I have a lot left to get through.
