Pinterest is like crack! SOOOOO ADDICTING!! I love it!

If I still have the calories left over and I'm hungry I eat. Its that simple. If I'm hungry and don't have calories left over I brush my teeth, complete my diary on here, and drink some water. I know that its all mental but as soon as I click on that "finished logging for the day" ~ I know I'm done. Nothing else is getting…

^^^^^^^^^ THIS!!!! I totally L-O-V-E PB2! Its great mixed into oatmeal, tossed in with shakes, or even all by itself. I like to take a cut apple and dip it into PB2. SOOOOOO YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO!!

Not sure if it was the same one I say but I did see a post about a 3-2-1 cake where you take angel food cake mix and a flavored cake mix and mix them together in a bag and take 3 Tbsp of the combined mix and 2 Tbsp of water and microwave for 1 minute. The poster said she added fruit and fat free cool whip on top. Sounds…

Blue Bunny fudge bars are only 90 calories. And they're HUGE compared to the other "diet" brands. There are those times when I am craving something else and I just try to make sure I have enough calories left over at the end of the day for my treat.
-
I was going to say the same thing. I didn't really start losing until I upped my calorie intake. Try it for a few weeks...you can always change it back if it doesn't work. Good luck!

I personally don't have "cheat" days. I do allow myself treats though and I don't limit them to specific days. I just know myself well enough to realize that if I allowed myself an entire day to eat whatever I wanted that all my other days of hard work would be in vain. And I'm trying my hardest not to look at this as a…

If you like oatmeal, try Overnight Oats...I just had these this morning and they are GOOD and FILLING! My recipe is 1/2 c. oats, 1 tsp. cocoa powder, 1 Tbsp of PB2, 1/2 c. unsweetened almond milk, and 1 Tbsp of honey. You mix it all together the night before and stick in the fridge. Pull it out the next morning about 10-15…

Same here. And my personal opinion is if the noises other people make bother you, then stick headphones in your ears or stop going. Everyone works out differently and to me its just a sign that they are pushing themselves. Its no different than the breaths I take while I'm running on the treadmill.
-
I agree...and green tea.

I stay away from cold cereal simply because they're all pretty high in calories and I haven't found one that I'm willing to devote that many calories to it. I'd rather eat oatmeal because its less calories and more filling. Most cereal servings are 3/4 of a cup and some are only 1/2!! No way would that fill me up!

I also will have a small piece of dark chocolate. I also like the Hunts Snack Pack Fat Free Chocolate Pudding cups. They're only 80 calories each and its the perfect size to squash your chocolate craving.

^^^^^ THIS!!! I was thinking the SAME thing. 1200 is not a lot AT ALL especially if you are working out every day. I have joined this site twice before (I failed both times) but this time it is finally sticking. Both of the other times I had my calories set at 1200 and nothing would happen...the scale would barely budge…
-
I HATE mine...its from back when I first joined the site (and failed) but the deal I made with myself is that I am not allowed to change it until I lose 10 pounds! 6 more to go!!!
-
I totally agree! Its like those people at the movies that come and sit right next to you when there are 200 empty seats still. I also hate those people that are just there to chat with their friends. Oh and people that talk on their cell phones while their on the treadmill. Really???? :grumble: I LOVE that my gym has a TV…

Sunny Charleston, SC!!!! Well not so sunny right now...kinda gloomy...but still feels awesome out! 66* here!!

I eat it cold sometimes too...if you google "overnight oats" there are some really good recipes that come up. One of my favs is cocoa and peanut butter. It is SO good!!!

I am ALWAYS over on protein! I woulnd't sweat it too much...

This forum IS about helping each other! Please don't let a few posters discourage you from seeking advice. I HAVE logged exercise before and it wasn't a "cop out" to doing cardio. I spent 2 hours doing hard cleaning ~ scrubbing the bathrooms, mopping the floors, etc ~ and since it is not something that I do every day I…

Maybe you need to up your calories?? Sometimes 1200 isn't enough...especially if you are exercising 5 days a week. I would raise it a little and try it for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. You can always change it back if you need to.
-
I've heard of the brownies but not the cookies...brilliant idea! And I have unsweetened almond milk to get rid of so that would make them even healthier!!!!
-
There is no way in hell I would ever give up my coffee. I only have one cup and I just use a little half-and-half and splenda.
-
I agree! And green tea is good too.
-
LMAO!!!! I was thinking the same thing!!

I was starving at 1200...I can't imagine being at 1000 or even under! In fact, I upped my calories to 1550 and ended up losing more weight. If you eat too few calories your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose a thing. Or worse...you'll lose muscle. Not good. I would google the calories you need to maintain…

I do this often. If I am making any kind of soup or chili I usually do it in the crockpot...in fact I have a meal in the crockpot right now. Or if I am splurging on calories and making lasagna, I make it the night before and stick it in the fridge. Then when I get home I pop it into the oven and get a workout in while it…

You should up them for sure. Mine are set at 1550 and I sit at a desk all day. I LOVE this site but I do think that the calorie goals are a little low. They had me set at 1200 and I was STARVING all day! So I googled what I should eat to maintain my current weight with no working out at all and the answers ranged from 1400…

I always bring leftovers for lunch. We make enough dinner so that the hubs and I can both have lunch the next day. I portion it out the night before so it is very much a grab-n-go meal. On the rare occasion that we don't have anything left over I usually keep a few Lean Cuisine pizzas in the freezer here at work. My last…
