I think we get it...you have to take care of someone that can be hospitalized just by catching the common cold. I don't think the OP has *any* intention of purposely infecting others at the gym. (See I can use asterisks too to emphasize). There's really no need to act "high and mighty" just because she asked a simple…

Best. Answer. Ever. :drinker:

That thread was the one I thought OP was referring to. It too was locked. I am seriously bummed that I missed the man-parts thread too. Dammit!
-
A post about man parts?? Where????? Do tell!

I didn't give anything up. I tried doing that before and I failed every time. Its all mental with me and if I know I can't eat it, that just makes me want it even more. So I still eat my cookies, chocolates, pastas, and breads only now I fill up on a big salad first so that I'm not going overboard. I'd be one cranky b!tch…

When I first saw this post Jack Handy IMMEDIATELY came to mind. My all-time favorite is: "The birds seem to be calling my name, thought Caw".     I crack up EVERY time I hear it!

I've been doing really well since December and I too just started the 30-Day-Shred. I've lost weight every week except this past week when I gained 2.2 pounds. I almost had a heart attack! I was about to give up but I didn't. I just reminded myself that this is a lifestyle change so there is nothing to give up. And that…

When I first saw this pic I thought it was a martini glass. Can you tell I need a drink already?!?

The only tried and true method to losing weight and being healthy is hard work and determination. There are no "quick fixes" and I agree with the person that said "slow and steady wins the race". We ALL want results NOW but we didn't get this way overnight so its not going to come off overnight either. And personally, I'm…

Do both! I do the 30DS every morning and then 3-4 nights a week I go to the gym and run.
-
Not counting family, two.

I couldn't agree more! Level 2 is the DEVIL! I hate it so effing much...and I'm only on day 2 of Level 2...UGH!!!!!!!!

You're not expecting too much just not eating enough. I was on the "standard MFP 1200 calorie" plan for a while and I couldn't do it. I was STARVING all the time. And I wasn't losing anything. So I upped my calories and not only felt better but started losing weight too. Win/win! Good luck!!!! :drinker:

I double-bag the girls so mine is usually on there pretty tight. I put both sports bras over it. I get a BAD red mark...so much sometimes that the black transmitter is digging into my boob. Doesn't really bother me until I shower...as soon as the water hits it...HOLY *kitten* it hurts like a mo-fo! So the past few times I…

I love my cat...she has such a great personality. She even "blesses me" when I sneeze. Or that's what I tell myself she is doing! Maybe its a sound of annoyance since I sneeze so damn loud. I talk to her and for her but so does the rest of my fam. She probably thinks we're all bat-*kitten* crazy!

I  running! If the treadmill at my gym wouldn't automatically go into cool down mode after one hour I would keep going. It feels SOOOO good!
-
Ditto on the other replies...you DEF need to eat more. There are a lot of days where you don't even reach 1200 and thats not good. Up your calories for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. Good luck!
-
Same here...I always make enough dinner so that I have something for lunch the next day. No way in hell could I eat a sammich every day.
-
I don't restrict anything now so my eating habits won't change much. I'm trying to think of this as a lifestyle change and not a "diet" and I still eat all of the things that I love...I just eat them in smaller quantities and not as often as I did before.

You can't taste the pumpkin at all. I've made chocolate muffins (well cupcakes really) using chocolate cake mix and a can of pumpkin puree and all you taste is the chocolate.

There are quite a few. Go to active.com and search by your zip code...it lists them all. I know that the Riverdogs Run Forrest Run 5k is coming up in May...the 19th I think.

Same here. Every Tuesday morning I weigh and no matter what the number is I log it that same day. Its also the only day I weigh. I would go nuts if I weighed myself every day!

Polar FT7...or really ANY Polar or Garmin. Make sure you get one with a chest strap...without it you won't get accurate readings. And remember you get what you pay for. When I first bought mine I purchased a cheaper one from a local sports store and it was horrible! Fortunately they let me return it and I went online and…

TRUE!! I prefer to think of food as "everything in moderation" and since I don't eat it every day...or even every week...when I do eat it, I want the real stuff!
-
Are you using a heart rate monitor with a chest strap? If not then what you are entering on MFP may not be 100% accurate. I finally invested in one and I'm so glad I did. I was actually burning about the same on the treadmill but I did a short work out video one day that MFP calculated as a 250 calorie burn and my HRM said…

My brother-in-law never wears the shirt until he has completed the race. I understand his logic but I personally don't follow the same practice. At the end of the day I know I ran it and I know I completed it and I honestly don't care if someone else is wearing the same shirt but didn't do it. I'm signing up for my own…

Did you gain inches everywhere or just in the waist? I've consistently lost pounds every week. I measure once a month and the last time I measured, I'd gained about a half inch in each thigh. I didn't think too much of it...just figured it was muscle that I'd added. I lost inches (or stayed the same) everywhere else so I…

I have these shoes and for me they were true to the size I normally wear. I L-O-V-E them!

This made me laugh...because its so true. And if he has a legitimate card and is paying for it legally, how exactly is that abuse???
