Try to have a few smaller snacks that include nuts, or natural nut butters (almond butter is great with some toast and jam). I would suggest a shake with some protein in it as well... bananas, and other fruits (like mangos) that are a little higher in calories, will help close that gap. And honestly, one night with a…

800-something for 65 min? My elliptical trainer which asks my weight only gives me 130 calorie loss for about 30 min of interval going at 75 rmp. That's a HUGE difference. MFP gives me something closer to 300 for 30 min. I just go with the 130. But how does that work?

I have the same issue but stick to what the machine tells me. I hear the most accurate would be a heart rate monitor which I still need to invest in :P.

I would suggest a couple things. Don't stay up late (thus tempting yourself to eat when you shouldn't). Increase your fiber intake during the day to keep yourself full longer. And DEFINITELY help with the grocery shopping (or buy certain things only for you, and thus limit yourself to what is only "yours".) A healthy night…

Best way to get calories up is to do a quick smoothie of fresh fruit and veggies with some added protein powder or flax powder... or if you have a juicer, some carrot juice would help. I wouldn't go for the empty calories, do something that you know will be good for you, but that isn't so much "food".

!!!!!! AMAZING!! :) So proud and super inspired! You look MUCH younger. Those lucky children of yours to have such a beautiful, strong, mother to look up to!

If you know what you put in your own version, then just click on the recipes tab under food, and create a new recipe (on the right of that page). Add the ingredients you used and the number of servings the entire recipe was, and it'll give you a calorie count specific to your recipe and serving. After saving the recipe,…

First off, you're beautiful and have come a VERY long way. The most important thing to remember, under both circumstances is that you started this journey to become healthier and more comfortable in your own skin...not for anyone else, not for friends that haven't seen you in years, but for yourself!!! You should be proud…

Truvia is the same thing as stevia... as in they both use the extract from the stevia plant. Truvia just doesn't have that weird after taste... don't know why, but I prefer it to stevia as well. Both are better than splenda because splenda is just aspartame, which has been linked to cancer, and is just not a natural…

What a beautiful website!!! I've never had any children (yet), but it's nice to know there is SUCH a huge supportive community. I think all mothers, future mothers, or aspiring mothers should visit this website :).

Great job :). I definitely know how it feels. I used to wear a size 12 and just about a month and a half ago was able to finally fit into a size 8 (I don't ever remember wearing a size 8 haha). Now I feel like even those are getting a bit loose... It's a GREAT feeling to say the least.

Fantastic weight loss! You look YEARS younger!

I'm sure they'll notice (and get super excited!!) :) Fabulous progress!!!

Almost 26 lbs in 19 weeks :). I'm so proud that I've come this far and know that the rest will be just as motivation filled and fun! Btw girls, I'm a bit jealous on some of the guys numbers there... they lose weight a LOT faster than we do... haha.

1) Knowing my mom was at risk for diabetes, watching my grandfather pass away from complications due to high blood pressure and diabetes, and seeing my grandmother deal with high blood pressure and diabetes. 2) Realizing that no matter what, if I ever chose to have children I would gain at least 30 lbs and the way I was…

No worries.. this happens to everyone. Part of the reason for your lack of motivation and tiredness could be because you're weaning off of the antidepressants. Maybe talk to your doctor about it. Remember that before anyone can love you for the wonderful person you are, you have to learn to love yourself. It's cliche, but…

haha... the second to last line... "anyone with an interesting personality can end up fat..." hahahahaha... how weird. I can totally understand the impulsiveness though! That's what leads to binging many times. Interesting nevertheless. :)

I just reached that range too (24.something). I was super excited!!! After all, the most important thing is our health, then looking good! (Luckily they both happen at the same time haha!) Congrats!!

but doesn't it have more fast foody type of stuff... I have no idea... getting mixed reviews on that...

I have the same problem! I'm never under my sugar limit (and am ALWAYS over). Honestly, I wouldn't worry about sugar in fruit as much, but it's important to cut down on processed sugars (which is what I'm trying to do). Let me know what you end up doing!

I'm going to say a few things: First- I have had a friend that went through with the tummy tuck and while she said it was incredibly painful, she's happy with the results. Second- Skin elasticity is genetic.. I know people that have had 3+ children and no signs of it at ALL... and others that have had 1 and struggle to…

Great job so far! I will say this though... the first week or two are high weight loss weeks due to water weight and your body suddenly changing habits. It does get a bit slower, and sometime a lot slower, but DO NOT give up. many time people get discouraged after the first few weeks when they don't see such dramatic…

You look fabulous!!! Way to go :) Thanks for the inspiration!

Regardless of how much you want to lose, because 1200 is the MINIMUM MFP will provide you (due to nutritional necessitiy), (and you likely will need to eat less than that to lose 1 lb a week), you're stuck at about .5. I wouldn't worry about it. I would exercise, eat between 1050-1200 (plus the calories you lose during…

One of the best feelings ever! Trying on old clothes and noticing that they're looser... :P Great job!

My reward after reaching my goal: Health :), a photo shoot with the hubster, and maybe some shoes lol.

Wonderful job! And yes, that's the most important... feeling good in your own skin! Thanks for the inspiration!

Sorry double post!
